Ok, so like Surfer, here's my take on the 5/6 SR's I hope to get in my case
1. 058 Super Skrull
Wizkids has been knocking it out of the park since they moved away from the pure (and lazy) pick-a-powers of the past. Each powerset the Klrt has access to perfectly represents each member of the F4, and his lengthy dial and multiple starting lines mean he'll find a place on any team (including my anti-annihilation wave team with Star-Lord/Nova/etc...).
2. 057 Annihilus
Love the sculpt. Love the dial. Love those specials. Love the character. I remember being so disappointed by his last dial (along with most of the other heavy hitters from the GotG and GG sets. It used to feel like aside from x-characters and random one-off's, WK didn't know how to accurately represent the more powerful marvel cosmic dudes. Between this set and Infinity, I have changed my tune completely, and Annihillus here will be leading the forces of the negative zone in many armies (now I just need to find good proxies for the annihilation wave)
3. 052 Dragon Man
4. 059 Blastaar
See my review of Annihillus. Big numbers, big powers, great sculpt, etc... 5. 055 Agent Venom
6. 054 Wolverine
"I remember you said to me once, you said... 'if death ever comes your way and won't let you pass... make sure you scream right back in his face"
this group of SR's are interesting to me. i want pretty much all of them for various reasons. the only two i feel i don't NEED is hulk and ms. marvel. i have great versions of both of them that i don't use nearly enough.
with that said, i hope my case gives me these figures.
Super Skrull- just an amazing figure that will frustrate anyone that faces him.
Doom 2099- being able to attack every turn is NASTY.
Ghost rider(non prime)- her giving ESD to monsters is HUGE. she will see TONS of play.
Blastaar- he's my kinda figure. an in your face figure you can't ignore.
Wolverine- while i don't need another wolverine per say. He makes the new fan four crazy.
Annihilus- this is what you want in a big baddie. his trait is amazing. wish he made pogs, but that's ok. with so many figures in the game using modifiers, he shuts it all DOWN. love him.
@antonio.clark.art is my instagram.take a look and tell me what you think....be blessed!!!
SF: Blastaar is unusually flexible, able to bring the fight up close or at range with equal fury. If you settle for his 75 point version, however, he prefers range and struggles with his damage output. For that reason, I can't recommend the cheaper alternative. 150: 75:
Not that he'd be my first choice (unless I had some ((likely?)) Frightful synergy), I'd say he's still close/range flexible with good damage output at 75 points. He has traited Super Strength, can target adjacent enemies with ranged attacks, and Pulse Wave of course doesn't care. I can't think of an scenario where he'd get "tied up" enough so that his 75 points seems lackluster.
My H/W link does not reflect the wants for my collection, it is a list of figures that I already have, but still "want" to play.
