POWER ADAPTATION: At the beginning of your turn, you may choose a character within 4 squares and line of fire and up to 2 standard powers that character can use. If Amazo is 100 or 125 points, you may choose 3 standard powers instead. Amazo can use the chosen powers and has the printed range value of that character until he chooses again.
1) Can you outwit anyone of these abilities that he takes from a figure or is outwit off limits because the trait does list actual abilities? 2) And as we know when Amazo takes powers from someone, he also take their range, but can he also take or, or does he always have?
- GOODNESS, KINDNESS, HAPPINESS, AND POSITIVITY!!!
Outwit can pick any standard power, regardless of how the target can use it, and even if they can’t use it.
As such, you could even use Outwit to preemptively limit Amazo’s choice of powers, by Outwitting a power he can’t currently use, but might want to pick on his next turn (technically, Amazo could still pick that power afterwards, but he wouldn’t be able to use it until the Outwit ran out).
Just to clarify, due to verbiage in his trait and the way outwit is now worded, Amazo's trait let's him "can use" these 2-3 powers, no matter what source he acquires them from, ie.. takes sidestep, stealth and shape change from the JLU010 Joker's two specials. Even though two of these powers are listed on one of Jokers special power, and could all be outwitted at once on Joker (per outwit chosing a special power), they would each be separate instances requiring multiple outwits on Amazo, if I'm not mistaken.
I miss? PC it. You hit? PC it. I hit? I can do better, PC anyways. You miss? I DIDN'T SEE SNAKE EYES, PC IT!

OUTWIT FREE: Minimum range value 6. Target an opposing character within range and line of fire and choose either a standard power, or a special power printed on the target’s card. The target can’t use the chosen power until your next turn.
Outwit allows you to chose either any Standart power or a Special power-on printed on the targets card, and that character can't use the chosen power till your next turn.
So you can choose "HE SEEMS TO BE EVERYWHERE" which means that Joker can use the powers (Leap/Climb, Plasticity, Sidestep, Stealth) granted by these powers.
If he could use Stealth due to another effect (Say the Nightbringer ring) he could still use despite not being able to use "HE SEEMS TO BE EVERYWHERE".
On the other hand, if you chose Stealth for Outwit Joker could bot use it for other source but he could still use Leap/Climb, Plasticity, Sidestep.
Similarly, Amazo choose standard powers, so he could not choose "HE SEEMS TO BE EVERYWHERE" but he could choose any of Leap/Climb, Plasticity, Sidestep or Stealth. And any of the chosen power is sperate power that he "can use"
Moreover he can use them till he chooses again so Outwitting "HE SEEMS TO BE EVERYWHERE" on Joker will effect what power Amazo can use in any way.
