SO - the 300pt modern team is :-

Galactus 100pts
Silver Surfer (starter set) 100pts
Franklin Richards 65pts

and I have 35pts left for add-ons, objects and so forth. I had been thinking of the Gems - but am sure there must be other good ideas out there. I could even add a low point character - maybe a retaliator ? (although I can't for the life of me think who.)

Dark Phoenix and spin ring.
The spin ring is great to TK out Silver Surfer from the get go. You can use the placement from the spin ring to move Galactus around or when the elemental converter is high enough move an opponent into its area of effect.

Depending on your thought of play, consider...
For surfer- All Black, the NecroSword

Both will give him an extra square of melee to help deal with stealth/positioning. Necro cuts through Sc and Ss, Waldo arms have chances for extra attacks.

You may want to consider the herald dial for Franklin with the extra powers (especially move and attack) to maximize his options, but also, and this is a weird twist, but instead of franklin,



He can choose the cosmic keyword, his 50/50 leadership can keep galactus or surfer going stronger longer, and since galactus maximizes range (with IT:H), and surfer has *a lot* of options for range, spidey opening with charge and quake fills a gap. And theres still the herald dial, or both aforementioned objects.
