Straightforward and cheap, but the sculpt deserves more of a scrapper dial than this barely even tertiary attacker one.

I was thinking the same thing for pounce.

I do agree because this is my favorite Robin sculpt and favorite Icons sculpt, but for me he is the new Stingray to fill in theme teams like Teen, Gotham City, and Detective.

This was the first ALPHA piece I've used in regular 'clix. Those STATS are amazing, especially considering the length of the dial.

The lack of TA is annoying, but given his point value it isn't likely that this figure will be the first target.

Final Comment: The smoke cloud can be seen as an annoying addition, but I attached (new, AA) Flashbang to Robin and he became a great support piece for other figures that DID have the Batman Ally TA.

For 30 points, this figure is excellent in both Alpha and regular Clix. He's low enough points that your opponent won't want to expend energy to eliminate him, but his stats are good enough that he'll have to do something to him. He's a good tie up piece, a good secondary attacker, an EXCELLENT Pouncer, and a good buddy for his 75-point OOTS Batman friend with his Smoke Cloud power.

What a bargain for those stats... he's a leapy little in-your-face nuisance packing a decent range option, and his attack never sinks below 9. Consistency is the operating concept here since few pieces at this point level can take a hit and keep swinging with the same offense as before.

Ruh. Donk. Yoo. Luss. 30 points for this guy is a STEAL. He may not look like much, but he is insanely consistent. He is the very definition of pushable. He can be used as a second or third string attacker, or just a simple tie-up piece that's dangerous enough that your opponent has to to deal with him. Even with Pounce, he's less than 50 points. Hell to the yizeah. Point-for-point, he is probably the best fig in Batman Alpha.

I played this guy on a DC heroes team the other day and even in 2017 he's still good for 30 points.

Not as good as Talia and Joker; but, to me, this is the best piece in the set. Solid combat values, useful powers (for the cost), and a beautiful, dynamic sculpture. Now, if only his boots were split-toed...
