I'd consider Grodd at 150.

While he may be susceptible to Outwit, only 7 characters start with the power.

You aren't going to hit any of your opponents pieces to Outwit, obviously, so you will likely only face another Grodd.

I'm not saying it is going to roll - but the chances of facing Outwit is pretty slim.

Depending on pulls, 75 point Grodd is a better play (he starts with Outwit, too), and I'm not saying your shield rating is off - but when it comes to fearing Outwit, there is very little of it that a player can get to - so I wouldn't sweat it.

Where I will disagree (including your bias against Charge) is that Mary Marvel. 9 clicks of life is really hard to take out. Her traited charge comes with a bonus blast - so she will often be doing 4 damage (or 2 for those with Invuln and at least 1 on those with Imperv).

This set is filled with Charge pieces so the idea a ranged piece is going to dominate is unlikely. There are some SRs and Chases that are strong but through what most players will pull, a Charge 18/CR piece will be a problem more times than not.

I rate plenty of charge figures high, it's just that you have to consider the fact that charge figures are inherently going to get tangled up in combat and thus more likely to be sniped or killed. Mary's big problem is her point cost. 100 is just a lot in this set if you don't have some speciality. Still, 2 shieds isn't bad, it just means you have to build around that figure's weaknesses.

Oh, and Grodd was also considering Quake or multiple bolts to get around Mastermind.

I don't understand why everyone loves Jason but not Apollo. Apollo has PC and several ITs while Jason just the Running shot and the super senses. I like more Apollo for what is worth.

For me, it's just that Jason is cheaper and a lot harder to hurt. I did still rate Apollo

Well I like Ferdinand, but that's mainly because I like Minotaurs and I can never get Support to work for me.

Medusa has a lovely sculpt.....and makes me wish Incap wasn't nerfed so hard or that at least two tokens still had a bit more sting.

I don't want to ruffle feathers, but the Uncommons feel like Commons and the Commons feel like pogs.
