If you have the old Xplosion fig (to my embarrassment I actually do) and you only have 20 pts left on your list instead of 35 for the XMRF or 50 pts for the DoFP it's not bad AT ALL. No move & attack, and only 2/4 clicks of prob with only 1 penetrating dmg for all 4 clicks and a sort of a passive defend from an ally? I'd say for a 20 pt filler that's actually about 4.5/5.

I'd say if she had one more click of PC and another 1 or 2 range she'd be a really solid 5 for her points. But of course as a legacy card they can't actually change a dial, only the traits and SP's. If I score this one I'll actually have to think about keeping it.

So how does this work, you have to have the card to play it in modern, but if you just want to play the old fig is it updated?

Why would it be? That would mean actually erasing the old one. It's just an alternate card, like how the team-up cards are alternates.

For VERY specific keywords, this is a very nice option to have for team builds. I am non-plussed on two counts. (1) The Veteran could have been used with a point cost of 20, or this one could have had a further reduced point cost. (2) One of the highlights of past versions was the original "no-cost move" Brotherhood team ability. With such a low printed move value, I would have liked to have seen a trait that mimicked that.
