That wasn't a backhanded comment...Need to work on your trolling skills. Better yet, don't...
Timo made some great points, I fully agree with him on all counts.
You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Owlman166 again.
Thanks Owlman. To be crystal clear, yes... my original post had a point of mentioning how this thread was in the Upcoming Sets and Rumors Forum yet no longer contained any information pertaining to Upcoming Sets. Even if I agree with the unpinning of this thread, the power to do so is not mine. It was never anything personal (as much as anyone may try to insinuate), and I hope one day the torch could be picked up by another caring Realmser to carry on this thread's legacy.
Getting this thread back on topic finally, the WizKids release schedule has a Fantastic Four storyline Play at Home kit and a storyline Tournament kit scheduled for October 2021 and then both Empyre Miniatures Game/Play at Home Kit/Dice and Token Pack/Booster Brick *and* War of the Realms Play at Home Kit/Dice and Token Pack/Booster Brick/Fast Forces scheduled for November 2021.
I would not be the least bit surprised if that changes to some extent before it is all said and done.
The set coming out in March 2022, still labelled simply Set 47, has a miniatures game listed rather than a Fast Forces set. Since Empyre is billed as Avengers Fantastic Four and has a miniature set, those speculating that it's a Spider-Man set could be right as it would make sense to do a Spidey miniature game, although there's still lots of things it could be.

Are they really still using the "Play at Home" branding for a product with which it is impossible to in fact play at home without supplemental product? Or have they changed the PaH contents?

They're definitely using the same branding. I doubt they're deviating from the format. The Rise and Fall Play at Home kit just had the Blue cake Deadpool and map.
He flitted between compliments and slams pretty effortlessly. Should have just kept it positive and accepted the win, imo.
eMouse has done too much for this community to have people analyzing his commitment and lecturing him.
Hi Dortmuner, I'm not sure what "slams" you are referring to...? Please be more specific. I reread each of my posts here and couldn't find any. I have the reputation for being one of the most positive people on these boards and I take pride in it. At the end of the day, what you perceive as analysis and lectures was just a friendly discourse between to longtime content providers here on HCRealms. I have just as much right to post here as anybody, and am just now deciding to respond to you directly as you are insistent on calling me out over the past few days.
I'm not sure who hired you as eMouse's PR agent, but he can speak for himself you know, like he always has. Him and I both have long running track records here for being pillars of this community. But, it's not about comparing resumes. If anything you are doing the exact thing to me that you claim I was doing to eMouse...
Any comment of mine after my original post was in direct response to something eMouse had responded to me about. I made sure to quote him specifically in order to keep up the conversation. When he said I was "questioning his commitment" I felt the need to clarify that I wasn't. (yet in the end, I suppose that it is exactly his lack of commitment that has brought us to this point... so why even call someone out on something that is true anyways, but I digress...). Egos often get in the way and mess things up in the moment which afterwards can seem insignificant.
As I'm somebody who has, continues to, and will continue in the future to add new content to this Forum, I even feel a little affinity with eMouse. Which, is also why I feel justified in my comments comparing posting content here to actual work. Anybody who goes into a gig understanding that it is 100% volunteer work, and then later references not getting compensation and complains how much hard work it was... obviously is at the point where they want out. I have no idea about eMouse's life beyond HCRealms, but I wish him nothing but the best here and elsewhere.
There was a purpose to my original post, and that purpose has been met, so for me it's time to move on. I'm not sure what your goal is here by "trolling" me...? Others in this thread have already called you out for it twice:

I purposely didn't take your quote bait as others stood up for me, but I felt it was time I chimed in personally. All this while I wish you would've just quoted me directly or PM'd me, instead of talking about me like I wasn't in the room... lol.
Moving the thread back on topic, WizKids' product release schedule now has all the War of the Realms stuff coming out in December. I'm not surprised in the least. The real question is do they kick it to January to get a little more distance between sets or do they stay in December to take advantage of Christmas sales. If they have product in hand, Taking advantage of Christmas might be their best bet. Even though it's not only two sets in two months but two Avengers sets in two months (albeit with Empyre co-featuring FF and including others), I think there's merit in going ahead and keeping WotR in December when people might buy their own product or get or give it as a gift.
A suggestion is not equal to a lecture. Everyone is subject to to "analysis" and opinion, yes, even mods.
If anything, I secretly hoped to indirectly light a fire under eMouse so that he would continue updating this great thread as he had for many years. But alas, it was not meant to be...

Turns out they're doing them a little differently since they're burning LEs.
Both kits are scheduled for October 27.

MARVEL HEROCLIX FANTASTIC FOUR 2021 STORY TOURNAMENT KIT (NE
The Fantastic Four return for a brand new HeroClix storyline event. Stores will be able to run up to two months of constructed or sealed tournaments for brand new figures and Legacy/Team Up cards.
The suggested format for these events is sealed 4-player mini tournaments. Each player will receive 1 Legacy or Team Up Card foil pack for participating, will earn more foil packs (figure foil packs and/or Legacy or Team Up card foil packs) for winning rounds, and will accumulate points for a snake-draft of the grand prize pool. 4 player mini tournaments allow for maximum flexibility for stores running these events to make sure they can get plenty of players to participate.
The figure foil packs and Legacy or Team Up card foil packs are also featured in the Play at Home Kit SKU, but there are a number of items exclusive to the tournament kits. This includes 2 Dr. Doom exclusives figures, 1 Silver Surfer exclusive figure, and a set of 8 Team Up or Legacy cards. These items along with extra foil packs will be used for the grand prize pool and as flex materials.
Stores order Release Day OP Kits directly from their distributor.
Orders for this product will be verified against stores' demonstrated HeroClix event performance. No retail store location may order more than 2 tournament kits in total.
Kits are only available while supplies last. Kits are covered by the WizKids Promotional Product Licensing Agreement and are marked "NOT FOR RESALE."
Stores are not required to have a volunteer or judge present to run an event; store owners may ultimately determine how events in their store will run and how the kits are used to promote the in-store play.
A suggested format guide and player tracking sheet is included and makes it easy for stores to run HeroClix organized play for the first time.

Firelord Legacy??? i wonder which Firelord it could be...
I'd personally rather see the Avengers one than any of the Infinity Challenge ones. The latter drop to a 13 Defense on the third click or fourth click. They'd need to do something wonky like with the WW card. On the other hand, the Avengers one is crazy expensive points wise and they seem to not lower that enough, in my opinion. Something creative with Veteran Firelord and reducing him to 60 points might be ok.
