While we are getting the umpteenth version of Superman and Batman, there are still oh so many more or less popular characters out there that are still waiting impatiently for their Heroclix debut. In this edition of Unclixed, it's one of the newest members of the Green Lantern Corps, Jo Mullein!

Making her first appearance in the Young Animal line's Far Sector by hit writer N.K. Jemisin, Sojourner "Jo" Mullein was assigned to The City Enduring. An alien melting pot of warring races, Jo was thrust into a mystery that endangered her and everyone in the city. During the run of Far Sector, we learned Jo was formerly NYPD, drummed out after reporting a fellow officer abusing his position. Jo attracted the attention of the Guardians, who gave her a prototype Battery-less ring with different limitations.

After dealing with The City Enduring, Jo has now been trying to pull the Corps back together after a mysterious attack that left the Central Power Battery exploded.

Why clix her? Lately, as DC has introduced new Green Lanterns to the Corps, HeroClix has been pretty good at getting them incorporated into new sets. So after making Simon Baz, Jessica Cruz, and Keli Quintela, debuting Jo Mullein should be the natural progression.

Who would she play with? Green Lantern Corps! That's the gimme. She was also a member of the Justice League during Future State. She'd also have the Police and Detective keywords representing her time in the past as a cop, and her future as a detective on the Justice League.

What would her dial look like? Like a lot of GL dials, she'll probably have staples like Energy Shields/Deflection and Telekinesis. For movement, things like Running Shot and/or Phasing/Teleport. As the person currently trying to hold the fractured GLC together, she might warrant a click or two of Leadership.

The way Sojourner Mullein has been written in the new Green Lantern series, as well as her detective work in her Far Sector solo series, has made her one of my favorite Green Lanterns.

I know WK has abandoned the concept but if ever a character deserved to have the Capture ability it's her I mean that was her JOB in Far Sector it was LITERALLY to capture criminals.

I love the visual design of this character - it would be great to have the Clix!
