There is no real idea behind this team, except to use the silly-looking Chase Thanos, based on Avenger (v1) #17:

=300 points, "Avengers" theme

In a more perfect world, Hawkeye and Quicksilver would both be 50 points, and the team wouldn't use a second chase figure... or I'd have all three backup members be different people wearing the respective costume... but this is the best I can come up with trying to mimic that original comic lineup.


Thanos is no slouch, but he is so much better with a well-crafted team behind him. I don't really think this team fits the bill, but there is potential if the Mad Titan doesn't come out of the gate too aggressive. If the 75 WK LE Quicksilver is available, I'd consider lowering Thanos to 100 points, but I'd prefer to keep this guy full-dial for this squad.


I think this Hawkeye has to be the star of the team, softening up as many different enemies as possible. Targeting (hindering, characters) is key. I think this is the piece most likely to trigger Thanos' CONTROL TOKEN.


This is an amazingly good version of Scarlet Witch. I wouldn't risk her too early on attacks, instead using her TK to position/rescue Hawkeye in the early game. If Thanos gets a Control Token, she should be that much more effective.


With my other choices, I'm essentially backed into choosing this dial for Quicksilver. I'm not particularly thrilled with this dial, but historically it wouldn't be a bad dial for the cost. With some help from Scarlet Witch, he might be more effective in practice then he looks on paper.

Do you have any recommendations for a 400 pt. build along these lines?

If you don't want to add anyone else to the team, bump up Quicksilver to full cost and add the 70-point Quinjet.

I think the WotR Mile Morales would be Thanos' best friend. Thanos gets better with more 50-point characters... especially ones that give him extra abilities.

Alternatively, there are decent, higher cost versions that could backup Thanos. You could bump Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver to 75/60 points and have 50-points for a Skycycle. The Skycycle has the Avengers keyword too
