Was looking through the rules, and after playing some older pieces with new rules got kind of confused. Can a character have both an assigned resource, and an equipped item? The thing that is messing me up is the wording of this under Equipment on pg. 63  A character can only have one game element equipped to it at a time.

Since ID Cards, Equipment, Resources, and Special Terrain are all included as game elements, can you only have one? Anyone run into this before?

Resources like phoenix force ASSIGN the element. So you could have a fragment and the angler. You'll want to look at the card, because I think it was the bat belt that said otherwise.

You didn't ask about Book of the Skull, but to save future headaches, being equipped by the Book is not the same as being Equipped with Equipment.
