Nice pick a power gimick but at 100pts and nothing but 17 toughness he's gonna die real fast. You aren't going to get your value out of him. Even if you did get charge/flurry/exploit exactly when you wanted them he is just not going to survive long enough to use them. 2 printed damage the whole way? Much more playable at 30pt line or when on a full shi'ar team with flag bonuses. Yep, he's a common for a reason.

Yeah his damage is good but he's such a glass cannon at 100pts. With Lilandra you can keep him at 18def but he's still going to die fast. He's really just way over costed is all. I like him at 30 though.

9 clicks of life in todays game is a deep dial, and Toughness can be far more effective than its gets proper credit for.
Smasher is a solid and consistent beat stick

What a boring dial. Even with his trait which will only work 33% of the time, he feels too costly for what he does.
