Wanted to play the 057 Apocalypse from the new set, and he has a few of these stop clicks
Summon our full might: STOP. Apocalypse can't be damaged by opposing effects, healed, or chosen for Mastermind. // At the beginning of your turn, generate an Daemon bystander within six squares. // At the end of your turn, deal Apocalypse 1 unavoidable damage.
how would that interact with Muramasa Blade
INDESTRUCTIBLE
EQUIP: ANY
UNEQUIP: DROP
EFFECT: Blades/Claws/Fangs. When this character uses it and rolls a 1-3, the hit character can't use defense powers until the beginning of your next turn.
this came up today, would you still get to use the stop clicks if they roll a 1-3 cause its an opposing effect, or does it means I can't use the summon full might power at all?
Summon Our Full Might is a Defense power. Why do you think you would be able to use it if the attacker rolled a 1-3 with the Murasma Blade?

" Apocalypse can't be damaged by opposing effects"
The roll for the Murasama Blade is before damage would be dealt. 1-3, it can't be used.

would the damage not be considered an opposing effect?
I think where I'm getting mixed up is how is it getting around an "opposing effect."
is there maybe a precedent ruling that would be similar or something in the rule book you can point that would maybe dumb it down for me?

The character doesn't ned to damage to not be able to use defensive powers (including SUMMON OUR FULL MIGHT). So if they get hit by MURAMASA BLADE and the attacker rolls 1-3, the target can't use Defense powers including SUMMON OUR FULL MIGHT
If any of the sentences would make more sense if the verb (or any other word) was a negative please treat it as such.

Getting hit has nothing to do with getting damaged. This is the attack sequence:
BLADES/CLAWS/FANGS When this character makes a close attack against a
single target and hits, you may roll a d6. If you do, deal damage equal to the result instead
of normal damage. Minimum result is this character’s printed damage value -1.
The roll for Blades is well before step 5, and once the character using the MB rolls a 1-3, Apocalypse can no longer use Summon Our Full Might.
