The prized pearl of my HeroClix collection, Lampost Batman is my all time favorite HeroClix figure. If he possessed Toughness on his first two clicks he'd be perfect, IMO. I haven't run him in forever. Need to break him out again, one of these days...
"Our mother has been absent ever since we founded Rome; but there's gonna be a party when the wolf comes home."
Even in today's games, I still have a lot of success with this Bat. I haven't played in tourny's in forever, but the group i play with still uses feats. If they're still officially allowed I suggest Force Field to give him toughness (thanks to his defend.) For 10 points it adds the durability he's missing. Lunge isn't bad either.
I absolutely love this piece. It's my favorite Batman to use and he just feels like the Dark Knight is suppose too. Yes, he needs Toughness on those first two clicks to be perfect but if you play him sneaky and methotically he will become Batman at his best and a major nuisance to his opponents team. I use him every Halloween night to add to his mystique. Honestly, it's figures like this that keep me playing Heroclix.
CAAV058 Immortal Hulk is here. There is no stopping him. For he will rise again and crush your bones. Be afraid. Be very afraid.
While I've always loved the dial, I've never been impressed by the sculpt. For years I've been using a proxy that I modded (using the HoT Daredevil and the cape from Legacy Batman) because I couldn't bring myself to pay the high cost for this figure. I must confess that I'd never seen it in person.
Well, I got this badboy for Christmas and now I understand all the fuss about the sculpt. The pictures don't do it justice. It is truly magnificent!
In terms of what he brings to the table, for 120 points, he has always been AVERAGE, at best. However, his status of being tied with the Crisis Supermen, for being arguably the most sought after Chase of all time, I believe, have given many collector's a bias toward him. His biggest weakness has always been the naked, upfront, 17 defense. As countless people have stated, Toughness or Combat Reflexes, on those clicks, would have made a huge difference. The opening 10 attack value, was not BAD, considering that he has it in conjunction with Flurry and Outwit, is still humble, for a piece of his point cost (especially when you see the two 11's on his famous counterpoint from the '07 JL set)
The higher the build, the more weight that he tends to pull. His best use is as a harasser/clean-up piece. Toss out smoke, counter powers and abilities, and take the occasional pot-shot, from the safety of hindering terrain. Don't Charge into the fray, unless you stand a good chance to do enough damage to knock out immediate threats, or at least weaken them to the point of them not being able to effectively retaliate.
Personally, I have never been satisfied with his dial; but, I don't think that it's possible to not be fond of the piece, itself. It simply possesses a level of grace and charm that you can't find anywhere else, in this game.
Got to bust out my all time favorite figure last night for a Halloween team. He did very well, all things considered for being a 12 year old figure, and managed to deal some major damage to a Hulk, KO an Eddie Brock SaV figure, and finally go down swinging against SR Knull. Truly a classic...

Needs a Legacy card just to improve the keywords and shave 20 points off. Some Combat Reflexes throughout the dial would be great, but he’s still the mean glass cannon that he always was. If your opponent doesn’t target him first, he’s going to do a lot of damage.
