Hypersonic Speed: POWER: Halve range, passenger 0, Improved Movement through or adjacent squares of opposing figs, Move, then make an attack, then move up to your speed value minus the number of squares just moved.
This situation came up in today's game.
Typically, HSS doesn't allow carry, but Miss America can. And, l know you need to breakaway to finish you movement. So...
1. Can Miss America HSS move, attack, pick up a friendly character and keep moving? And
2. Can Miss America HSS carrying a friendly character with Empower and make use of that Empower when she is attacking?
I said NO to both of these, since at no point does the power say you stop moving, (despite the fact you do).
Ease correct me if l am wrong on either of these. I know this is a rare situation so wasn't sure how to judge this one.
Hypersonic has two separate move portions. Miss America could move carrying 2 characters, places them at the end of that movement before attacking, then move again carrying 2 completely different characters if you wanted her to. So she would also make use of any carried character’s Empower during the attack.
Here’s the rules forum post on Hypersonic that confirms that Hypersonic consists of two separate moves:

Alright, thanks for the answers. The rules change so much it is hard to keep track. It would be nice if the PAC actually specified you Move, Stop, then Move... that would have made the answer clear.

It's only implied, but "move" is a self-contained instruction in HeroClix. When instructed to "move" you move your character until the movement ends. Only then have you completed the instruction.
Charge doesn't say to stop moving either, but the movement has to end before you can make the attack.
Are movement values still affected by PASSENGER? If so, how would the movement values be calculated for the different Move+Attack+Move, assuming Miss America chooses to carry figures during both moves?

No, the Carry ability, which Passenger grants, no longer modifies a character’s speed -1 for each character carried.

If America carried a character that can affect her speed value, it would affect her total movement value, not each individual move, no different than any other modifier.

I wonder if there are any characters that have a combo of Empower/Outwit and Poison? It's situational, but pull the Ten of Swords tarot card and leave those guys behind after you Hypersonic in and take off lol.

There are not. Poison/Outwit is fairly common (144 results), Poison/Empower not so much. A search returns 39 results, but a lot of those are pick a power pieces. Even with that, no one has all three on the same click. You'd have to do something like Carry Jakeem Thunder (presumably when he has two tokens), picking Empower that turn, and then switch to Poison/Outwit the next (but is that really your best use of him?).
