Pretty fun Aquaman, especially for the points. More buffs to Dolphin teams is great, and he makes bystanders with Empower (or more water if you got gimped on map). Plus, and I expect this to get errata'd, but with the current wording he can use his Empower on himself when he is in water. Yikes. What a beatstick.

Characters cannot be adjacent to themselves so he cannot empower himself. Characters that have been able to do that in the past can only do so because of extremely specific wording that he does not have

That's awesome. Give him the blue ring and he basically has double CCE. 13/6 for 100 points isn't bad at all.

So what would the specific wording be? Can you give example of someone who could be adjacent to themselves?
As far as I can see, He can meet the requirements for his "This Is a Monarchy...and I Rule" power. Providing he is in water, he is always friendly to himself, thus a friendly character, he also has the dolphin movement... I also think that the phrase "he may treat" playing a large role towards affirming that he can Empower himself.
