I'm not sure why they felt the need to get rid of his Flurry. He's fighting the common Spider-Man and the starter set Spider-Man for the role of 40 point Peter Parker, and keeping the Flurry might have helped him compete a little bit better for it. As is I think he's pretty clearly the worst of the three, which is a shame since I loved this guy back when he came out. It's always a bit disappointing when we get an uninspired legacy card update since it sort of defeats the point of bringing a figure back. If they're not going to get the kind of update they need in order to be able to compete with modern pieces then why bother?
Hagath said it very well. I love this figure a lot since it was my first Spider-Man and really wanted the figure to become a Legacy Card, but this one really needs a little something more to make him playable in anything beyond friendly home games.
For home games, just add back his original Flurry, since the number of clicks is the same, and give him +1 to his Attack and Damage Values, and now you have the same figure with a slight upgrade that makes him competitive. What Wizkids should be doing with Legacy Cards.
