Hello everyone, i did a draft at my local store for the first time and i pulled an Iron all-father 052 i would love to make a team with this figure, can someone help me with a list? thanks
You are missing some info - such as how many points is the build?
If it is 300 then obviously you aren't running him at that cost so that leaves 175 points.
Do you have a style to stick to? I, for example, prefer to build comic-possible teams which translates as single universe and either villains or heroes (in general). So without any info, I'm going with that:
Long range, average attack value - needs prob control, which he has.
Son #1:
Higher attack, I like his ability to heal as well as throw action tokens on pieces to keep targets still for Dad.
Son #2:
Controversial choice - but I like his Leadership to help try taking tokens off of Dad and I find it is a must have power if you have more than 4 characters on a team. Additionally, running him up to tie up and cause the target to get a -1 defense for increased chances of hitting is good to me.
Since this got me on an Asgardian kick:
You need some close-combat, just in case and Sif is as nasty as they come. On shorter maps, she has a better chance at Charge Flurry and then remove rally die for another attack. Plus she has leadership early on which could be useful.
And since she always cares about herself anyway, how can we not have Amora:
TK and Outwit is a nice combo and could easily take some heat off the other pieces.
And since we are fighting some rando team hell-bent on destroying the multi-verse, how could we not get some help from Dr. Strange:
Sure, he isn't leaving home but he is there "in spirit" and with Enhancement, he is making those blasts from Iron Odin a bit more deadly. And if things go south the ghost can phase over as a tie-up pieces to block lines of fire - then phase back as needed.
As far as sideline characters, I'd look for steal energy, precision strike, ES/D, Combat Reflexes, Invincible, maybe super-senses and probably Regen.
That is 300 on the nose and gives you a number of power choices with, I think, decent synergy.
If you do use this team (or any team with your Iron Odin), please share the results.
Visible Dials and Pushing Damage need to be optional. This is the way.
