Like the title says, I’m a returning player. I played heroclix from the original launch through the release of the hellboy horror clix and the halo action clix sets. While moving recently, my kids (13 and 8) found my old clix and wanted to play. That was 2 months ago. Now we’ve started playing daily and have started going to the local comic shop weekly to buy newer stuff.

Here’s we’re I need some help. As a 90’s kid, xmen are my go to hero’s, but all my old figures just don’t hold up against these new Spider-Man figures my kids are using. What I’m asking if for you kid people to maybe tell me which are the best modern xmen figures for a reasonable price. Me and my sons play 200,300, and 400 point games so any team ideas for any of those builds would be very appreciated.

x of swords is the most recent xmen set, I'm pretty new myself but I would start there for xmen related figures.

Are you looking for a buy list, or just general advice? Because yes, X of Swords, but also Empyre.

If you're looking for just fun home games, anything released in the past 18 months is a good choice.
