I just realized that the boxing ring never defined the ropes as terrain like this one does. They are both great ... just that they are very different.
They say the best weapon is one you never have to fire. I respectfully disagree. I prefer the weapon you only have to fire once. That's how Dad did it, that's how America does it, and it's worked out pretty well so far." Robert Downey/Tony Stark
The ring really is great for WWE pieces. It sometimes results in a bit of a stalemate where the wrestlers dont want to come out and the opponents dont want to come in. Figures with slingshot are great for coming out and throwing(knocking back) figures into the ring.
As it’s not modern-legal, if you want to use it, I’d recommend talking to your judge. Could be a fun scenario. The easiest way to use it would be to just say “put it in the middle of the map and it overrides any existing terrain.”

The WWE ring is silver age legal, which is currently a Wizk!d supported format. Special terrain completely replaces the terrain below it.
Special terrain is placed simultaneously with a player’s terrain markers during setup.
Special terrain must be placed at least 3 squares away from any starting area and can’t be placed over squares of different elevation, other special terrain, or over orange squares.
The WWE ring can be still be placed on a lot of the newer smaller maps. It's a great way to open up walls or eliminate unwanted blocking terrain.
Wishing for competitive Judge Dredd figures for Modern Age...WizKids are you listening?!?!
