Hi I'm new to heroclix and played my first games yesterday.
There are a few rules I am not sure about.
- Can you give 2 costed actions to 1 character in 1 turn?
- Can I do a ranged attack when adjacent to an enemy character (without improved targeting) if the target is not adjacent to the attacker?
I know you cannot range attack a opponent adjacent to the attacker...
Both are not mentioned in the printed quickplay rules included with the WonderWoman 80 anniversary set or the Four Empyres set. But in the comprehensive one on the website it clearly states you cannot give 2 costed actions to 1 character , and you cannot make a ranged attack when adjacent to en enemy.
Team abilities. How and when can I use these. From online information I thought it was , if your character has x-men keyword AND the team ability symbol on the dial for X-men, you can use the X-men team ability for that character. But I have a bunch of characters that have a team symbol that don't have the correct keyword (for example Batman Enemy team ability, but none of my cardshave the "batman enemy" keyword, they do allmost all have "Gotham Underground" keyword...) Same for doom patrol characters, most have the "Outsiders" team ability, but non of them have the outsiders keyword...
The last question I have is about equipments and Items. Is it so that you cannot target an item when it is carried by a character. If so, is it possible to unequip an item from an enemy, or do they only drop it when they are KO'd?
Also, how does one acquire some fun equipments? (they seem like a nice thing to have for teambuilding) Are they only in base sets and play at home kits? Or can I print some from somewhere ?

What you read in the comprehensive rulebook is correct.

You do not need to have a particular keyword to use a team ability. If the character has the team ability on their card/base, they can use it.

Thanks in advance for any help and clarification!
Unless a character has a particular power/ability stating they can, you cannot force an opposing character to unequip an equipped object or drop a held object.
Equipment almost always have their own 3d sculpt, so you cannot print them. They’re usually available in certain sets, sometimes with a particular figure or randomly in boosters.
