According to their Facebook page, Black Panther is now scheduled to release on 11/27/24, alongside the 2025 Starter Sets.

Better than 12/11. I'll take it ... not that I have much choice. LOL.

So a week after Collector's Trove, apparently.

Let's hope they can actually hit this release date.

That trait is incredible, everything else, far less so.

Edit: I just realize it's on hit, not a FREE. The whole thing is garbage. Ugh, why WK?

What's wrong with on a hit? That means Super Senses is the only real defense power that will give you a problem.
I love a good way around Mastermind.

In a vacuum, the trait is good.

But if ranked among all the "power eraser" type characters out there, this is at the bottom. The others can be done at range, don't require you to hit, and will fit on your teams for less than 70 pts.

Where does his 60pt dial begin?

He's only five points less than MoT Blue Beetle, who can do it to any standard power at range. Legacy Cosmo is 45 points and can erase the same power on every opposing character in range. Talon makes it so the target can't use any defense power when attacked by any assassin at 60. BP just isn't comparable to those figures, two of which cost less than he does.

Fun fact: The Vibranium and the Heart-Shaped Herb in this set both have their Close damage bonus and Range damage reversed on their cards when compared to past EFFECT terrain, Objects, and Terrain Markers.

They still list the Range value first, then the Giant Reach distance, so putting the +1 before the 3, for instance, makes ZERO sense other than "most folks use this for Close attacks, anyway, so list that first."
