Ok my understanding is that the ult/supes TA ignores hindering terrain for most purposes but the Kabuki TA changes Hindering to Blocking for Line of Site.
My arguement here is that the ult/supes TA figures cannot draw line of fire to Kabuki figures - while they can ignore hindering terrain for combat etc - when they draw a line of fire to Kabuki characters the TA turns the hindering terrain to blocking (as the terrain is still there and of hindering type which would activate the Kabuki TA).
my TA is active all the time u could argue that the moment you check to see if you have line of site the ability is active turning hindering into blocking therefore cannot be ignored by TAs of ult/supes.

Well, I suppose it goes to the point where.... because of the Supes/Ult TA, the terrain was NOT hindering IN THE FIRST PLACE, therefore, it has no chance to become blocking terrain... because in order for it to be blocking the EFFECTS of hindering terrain have to take place, which the Supes/Ult TA prevents.
Essentially, when the Superman TA is being used against the Kabuki TA treat the Kabuki TA as if it doesnt exsist. Supes TA ignores the benefits of hindering aquired through terrain OR Team Abilities.
"Success can test ones mettle as surely as the strongest adversary"
"including benefits given from other TA's. " would satisfy me if worded that way - I suppose its satisfactory - just that I like the above logic thought that it became blocking terrain and thus no longer hindering terrain for the purpose of line of site - but its true I dont see any other meaning they could have for power.

ULTIMATES™ Members of this team ignore the effects of hindering terrain on movement, combat, and powers and team abilities.

Universe Rulebook page 28, Glossary:
ignores
Is not affected by or treats the stated property as if it didn’t exist or happen.

Kabuki Any line of fire drawn to this character that passes through hindering terrain, including the square that this character occupies, is treated as though it has been drawn through blocking terrain.
The Ultimate TA treats Hindering Terrain as if it does not exist, as per the Glossary definition of ignores. Since the LOF drawn by an Ultimates TA does not pass through Hindering Terrain (since, at this time, it is treated as if it does not exist at all), the Kabuki TA has nothing to "turn into blocking terrain".
Well the working of the Kabuki power doesn't say that Hindering terrain turns into blocking. It just says that it is "treated as if it had been drawn through blocking". According to the Superman Ally/Ultimates ability it ignores hindering terrain. So if I can ignore the hindering terrain, I don't have to worry about the fact that it would be treated as blocking, if I couldn't ignore it.

Well, the updated Superman Ally team ability says --
Quote
Superman Ally:
This character ignores the effects of hindering terrain (including team abilities that give hindering terrain bonuses) on movement, combat, and powers and abilities.
So it ignores the Kabuki and Batman Ally team ability.
In my day, we didn't have Heroclix. If you were being attacked by Superman with a 3d dumpster, you just had to hope you could outrun him.
