Setting up some practice games before the new set comes out and I got a few questions...
Questions about the Pounce FEAT...
Confirming that Pounce DOES NOT work with:
blades/claws/fangs
exploit weakness
close combat expert
incapacitate
quake
and confirming that Pounce DOES work with:
super strength
steal energy
leap/climb (when pouncing the movement acts as a charge and you can't leap off buildings, ignore figure bases, or hindering terrain)
Another thing I wondering about is timing. When do you have to "assign" the Pounce feat. At the beginning of the match? Or can you assign it to any character any time during the match?
When you use the Pounce FEAT and take a click of pushing damage...do you take an extra token as well or is it damage only?
I haven't seen the actual Pounce Feat card itself, only the rumored wordings.
As such, I cannot give you a completely informed answer.
One thing that I CAN tell you is, based on the already released rules, Feat Cards are assigned to a character at the begining of the game, if applicable.
Originally posted by HeroClix1234 As written now, Pounce requires L/C to use...but does not work with L/C. L/C works with move actions and close combat actions. Pounce is a power action. So you could not use L/C while using Pounce.
The Pounce Feat requires you to Choose a Character. Per the Feat Rules...you choose the character at the beginning of the match. So Pounce will be attached to a single figure throughout the match.
You just take pushing damage. You do not add a token.

In my day, we didn't have Heroclix. If you were being attacked by Superman with a 3d dumpster, you just had to hope you could outrun him.
