Here's the first question: Am I able to use the Silver Surfer(le)
and the SilverSurfer unique(defender team ability) on the same team?

#2. Does it cost an action to switch flight modes?
Ex: Terrax has just taxied invisible woman and still has a movement point left. Am I able to use the remaining point to soar or do I have to stay hovering after the taxi?

#2 you can use your remaining point to soar.

I think you drop the carried character at the end of your movement, so for #2 im gonna say no, you have to stay hovering.

no to #2

You don't drop the person off till the end of your movement, if you choose to soar, you wouldn't have ended your movement before, and you can't drop a person off while soaring.

A fig cannot continue it's movement after it sets down a fig that it was carrying. Going into soaring after setting the carried fig down would be continuing it's movement.

Here we go.

#1: Yes, you can. They are different numbered pieces, so they aren't the same piece.

#2: To switch flight modes, you must give the character a move action, so yes, it costs an action. As for the taxi, you have to set the piece down at the END of your movement, so no, you cannot taxi then go into soaring at the end of your movement. You must be in hovering to place the taxied piece down, and that occurs at the end of your move action.
