I've also got a timing discrepency that I need a answer on. If you outwit someone's invulnerability, toughness, or impervious would they take poison before it comes back.
Pushing damages (like damage from a critical miss) cannot be masterminded. Falling and knockback damages can be masterminded, provided the figure having Mastermind land in a square adjacent to an ally figure costing less points than him.
About the Crossgen/Mystic, I'm not sure. But it seems logical that this damage can be redirected (Mastermind redirects the damages, but doesn't evades or reduces them).

For the second question : it works. At the start of your turn, you can choose to use Outwit (to cancel a defensive power), then you can activate the Poison of one of your character.

Would you have to use the outwit at the start of the current turn, or Do you outwit their toughness the previous turn and poison geos thru before their power comes back?
You can use Enhancement on MC (ranged) attack too, but the result will still be no damage (even if you obtain a critical hit on your atatck, the damages of Mc will be 0).
It's due to the fact that Incapacitate reduces the damages to 0 (and thus can be increase after that by Enhancement or Shield TA), but MC does "no damage" attacks (not 0, but "no damages" at all). So in the end you cannot do damages at all using MC.

Here is how the beginning of a turn works:
At the very beginning of the turn, Outwit and other "at the beginning of the next turn" effects resolve. So any Outwit from your previous turn fades.
Then "at the beginning of your turn" effects take place. So Poison and Leadership happen. This is in any order you like. During this time you can also do free actions like Outwit/Perplex.
Because of this you could use Outwit for this turn on a character's damage reducing power and then apply Poison.
