That being said, I thought that this was another fantastic issue.
I may have to sift through the old threads, Darth, though I assume you probably posted on that long one featured that guy named "waaagh."
Anyhow, #10 was very good, and it's good that Ronnie fans and Jason fans alike enjoyed it. I don't expect the outcome of Ronnie's fate to impact whether I'll be buying the series, but I agree that Jolley has done well and it's a shame to see him go.
thats waaagh1, thank you very much. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, Im just more vocal about mine: that Jolley is a hack. I'll eat my words if it was DC's decision to kill off Ronnie and replace him instead of it being Jolleys idea. Plain and simple NO ONE I mean No one likes their favorite character being replaced , notable examples:
Captain America
Spiderman (that diasastrous clone saga thing)
Iron Man
Thing (replacing him with Shehulk in the FF)
Batman
Hal Jordan
Firestorm
Some of these replacements made for good stories some didnt.
I fail to see how Jolley is doing good for Firestorm, Firestorm isnt just a costume and nuclear powers. This is not Captain Universe people. So now they are going to throw away 20+ years of a decent character just for instant gratification, this series was a slap to the face for most faithful Firestorm fans.
I'd rather see Ronnie used as a second string JLA member, just a tad bit face time than he got when Kelly had the reigns, then to see this travestry. Once again if you want to see superhero teenage angst go read Teen Titans (great book so far) or Ultimate Spiderman.
if you read this then you lost 10 seconds you'll never get back.
Wow. Bizzarre series of events. Someone can wish death and illness on someones family and not get a single warning from the mods.
I personally really enjoyed Deadshot. I liked the idea of green arrow and deadshot fighting each other to a standstill. Kudos for them giving better characterisation to villains and motives beyond money and power.
I didn't get all the references in superman but still thought it was ok. I love the look of zod.
If you hurt inside, get certified, and if life should treat you bad... don't get ee-ee-even get mad!

Yeah, even though some of you like Jolley and Jason being Firestorm I dont wish you or your family ill will. But your taste sucks (kidding, everyone is entitled to their own opinions you have to respect them whether you like em or not)

Yeah, I'm kind of at a loss as to how someone gets away with that as well.
