I'm going to my first tournament tonight, and I've constructed a 300 point team. They are:

R Hulk, 103 points, Universe
V Storm, 52 points, Universe
E Spider Man, 40 points, Universe
E Shadowcat, 33 points, X-plosions
E Hellcat, 31 points, Ultimates
V Destiny, 29 points, X-plosion
R Con Artist, 11 points, X-plosion

If this is a really bad team, please don't be afraid to tell me it is horrible.

Thats pretty decent but do you have any of the feat cards from Mutant Mayhem or Legacy? If so put pounce on Spider-Man and Trick shot on Storm. Also I suggest taking out the hulk, he'll get creamed while he is still in his Banner clicks. Hellcat is pretty much worthless, replace her with a Rookie jean grey if you have one.

Okay, I took out Hellcat and added Trick Shot and Pounce.

I also took out Hulk and replaced with Soldier X.

Although now I have to trim out 6 points from somewhere...

Take out the con artist. I think you may be able to pick up a R Moloid as a shield for Storm then too...
