Bishop attacks the Shao-Tzung armor. AV7 vs DV15. Roll is 5+4(9), HIT for 1 damage after toughness.
Phoenix pushes and attacks the Shao-Tzung armor. AV9 vs DV15. Roll is 5+5(10), hit (whew) for 3 damage (PB ignores the toughness) and KB off of the building for another 2 and the KO I believe?
The rest clear.

Well that robbed Bishop of some KO xp next round, but don't look a gift KB in the mouth I always say.

Oh, and I think you gave Phoenix one too many IAP's. She had 9, then hit Magdalena for 3, putting her on her last click. So that's 3 IAP. Then the knockback KOed her, giving her that last clikc of damage (even though it actually dealt 2, you don't get extra IAP for damage dealt past KO) and then another 2 IAP for the KO. THat's 6 IAP all up, so Phoenix ought to be on 15, not 16.

Havok attacks the Saxon armor. AV7 vs DV13. Roll is 4+3(7), HIT for 2 and the KO.

Yeah, I had almost the exact same thing happen over in the AF training session. Northstar knocked my SB double incap char off the roof, perfect health to useless with one roll.
Still, I think I can take some credit. I got Bishop to full so it would take insane good luck on your part (or bad on mine) for him to not be able to stay helthy enough to unstealth the Shao-Tzung for the Phoenix wammy, then it was just a matter of mop up the next round. The KB just made it a turn faster and robbed Bishop of the xp.
Good game. Some luckier rolls, or a screw up from me and half my team would of needed carried out.
Sometimes it just comes in waves. You've been getting stinkers this game and marvel knights, I've gotten good rolls here, and some fantastic luck against Brendans poor FF4. Then I did #### against DM's AF. I better do some games to ride out the #### luck before next story LOL
One thing I'm never lucky with is BCF. I can't do carp all with it, but I always seem to get hit for 5 when I face it. That's alot of ouch.
Heh. About the only good roll that I'VE done all game (and I suppose the Havok knockback was okay too...and not really a bad thing). Still...I would've liked to have taken down just one of your figures.
Oh well, good game. You played it well. Good strategies. My team was pretty useless thanks largely to your placement and use of Outwit. I only ended up with that one BCF attack at the end. Wasn't sure if I was going to get any at all (and wouldn't have if it wasn't for a silly LOS rule).

With a mental effort Phoenix hit the suit of armor with a beam of invisible, super hot gas. The armor flew off the side of the building and exploded spectacularly.
Havok smiled. "Good work Rachael. You're really starting to tap your potential now and..RACHAEL!"
Havok dived forward and caught Rachael as she staggered, dangerously close to the building edge. "Are you ok? Speak to me." Alex had grown used to the idea of her as a teammate and niece, and there was genuine concern in his voice.
Rachael's eyes flickered for a moment and she was warm to the touch, then she relaxed and opened her eyes. "I'm fine Uncle Alex. It's nice to know you care," she said with a grin, kissing him on the cheek.

They were swamped by press when they came down.
"What were those things?"
"I think America owes you all a debt of gratitude, any comments?"
"Is it true that there was an Elvis sighting?"
Havok turned on the automatic smile and disarming manner that Val had taught him. She was right, being the hero did get easier. It still felt incredibly strange to have words like 'patriot' and 'icon' directed at him, but he had to admit, it beat 'mutie menace' any day.
Reporters from every network were covering the event, including Shane Ruban. If it hadn't been so hectic, someone may have notice the strange look in the reporter's eye, or the fact that his mike was the only one there that wasn't hooked up...
Havok's ear piece chimed, it was Val Cooper. "Head back to base for debriefing. You guys did a bang up job, and there are more damsels in distress and cats to be rescued from trees."
Havok smiled. "No problem Val, we're on our way. Hey Val, am I crazy or is someone selling t-shirts with us on them?"
Val chuckled. "They're testers for a new line. I think you look particularly buff on yours, you should be pleased. Judging by the feedback, the action figures should fly off the shelves."
"Action figures? Do we get our own Yu-gi-oh cards too?" joked Havok.
"Not till next month," replied Val matter of factly.
"....."

As Havok flew the Quinjet back to base, his mind wandered. He didn't notice Betsy slip in to the co-pilot's chair.
"Want to talk about it?" she asked.
Havok shook his head and favored her with a wistful smile. "It's nothing really; just all this weirdness has me remembering an old Egyptian prophecy.
In the end of days, the dark one shall rise. He shall command the animate, and the inanimate, and twist the new gods in to his own image. His armies shall march across the land, and none shall be spared."
Psylocke shivered despite herself, and the rest of the trip was filled with a peculiar silence.
