That's what I get for taking my turns too quick. It was Hydra I was thinking of that needs line of sight. If I'd realized that I would have played things very differently. I kept setting them up so they'd have line of sight. I was thinking SHIELD team only gave tokens, not actions. Thanks for the heads up.

as the cocky guard stepped forth Jean tried to grab him with her TK just as she had the last one...only to have him throw a deck of cars in her face....startled she dropped him and felt one of the cards scratch across her face a long furrow as it was seized by her mind instead when she lost control....

Delta sidesteps over to N7.

Everyone else clears. It's real frustrating that I can't have both guards in line of sight of Jean.

Beast was tiring fast and he could here some subsonic frequency with his better than human hearing....it seemed to be keying in on the robots...downloading data...like a digital burst transmission.

"Brian somethings getting read to happen...we have to end this quickly"

then beast did an over hand backstand and grabbed the Cyborgs head with his feet turning to the left and spinning it right into the waiting fist of Brian Braddock

who remarked..."thats how we do it uptown..."

"downtown..." said beast

Alright last turn. Harry tries to hit Jean. 8 on a 14. Roll is a (5,5) hits Jean for 1 and knockback to T14.

Delta will push to try to hit Captain Britain. Knockback or a crit will KO him. 6 on a 14. Roll is (3,3). Well doubles.. but a miss. Guess Brian lives by the skin of his teeth.

Omega can't do anything productive anyway so that's it.

Harry shouted in anger and landed a decent left hook into Jean's cheek knocking her back. "That's for hurting my friends!"

The Sentinels remained quiet as Delta shot at Captain Britain once more. His blast went wide though and if a robot could frown Delta certainly would as his circuits recharged.

I guess that's it. good game clix. Even if it doesn't count anymore past this I'm willing to play it to the end if you want. You'll win easily though. Too bad I couldn't finish Captain Britain. AT least I got Cyclops though :-)

nawww no reason to finish....you can do a final story post leading into the next one....then ill do a final xmen post...good game Vance...look forward to the continueing saga vs the sentinals

The Sentinels all froze in place. They began to glow and started emitting a slowly building humming noise. As Hank tried to figure why this noise sounded familiar it came to him. 'Time to go!', as Beast turned and sprinted toward the exit grabbing up the fallen Scott as he went. He yelled to Jean and the two guards "They're getting ready to blow! Jean help Brian!"

Jean and the two guards came to the corner where they could see the Omega Borg saying "10-9-8..."

Jean reached out and telekinetically grabbed up Brian and barely broke stride with any effort.

''...7-6-5...''

The guards were running after the fleeing form of the Beast, forgetting the fight that had just taken place, and everything else that didn't involve getting to the exit.

''...4-3-2...''

Jean ripped panels from the walls and grabbed up desks and piled them up in front of her and Brian in a maelstrom of activity that had Brian confused. Jean had never shown that much power before. In his weakened state he started to wonder about her sudden power and control.

"....1"

BOOOOOM!!!!

Dust and debris flew around the makeshift barrier Jean had thrown up. When it had settled they exited, Brian was staring at Jean unsure what he had just witnessed and thinking 'Emma needs to know about this.'

At that moment, in his mind Brian heard...I saw Brian. Return to base. Logan will be accompanying you while I tend to Scott's injuries. I'll look into Jeans sudden power fluctuations. It would be appreciated if you could hurry,Fury is stinking up the place with his cigar smoke waiting to debrief you
