Well as some may know I am very, very new to the game and will start picking up boosters with the start of the new Fantastic Forces set. My local area usually does constructed events, well I'm 99.9% sure of that. Anyways, figured I would build a theortetical team to shoot for once the set is released, would this be a good beginning army?

1x Doctor Strange (Veteran, 110 points)
1x Invisible Woman (Veteran, 67 points)
1x Iron Fist (Experienced, 55 points)
1x Scarlet Witch (Veteran, 62 points)
1x Low Gravity (0 points)
1x Astral Plane (0 points)

OK I know this squad probably stinks, but it's my first shot at trying to put a team together. Like I said I'm waiting to get the boosters so I have something to shoot for.

My strategy is thus, I keep Doctor Strange in back picking off my opponents while Invisible Woman is keeping him safe with a barrier. All the while this is going on Iron Fist and Scarlet Witch are going in for kills, especially with Iron Fist+Low Gravity which will make it harder for my opponents to immediately get back to attack. Scarlet Witch also has some nice probability control which helps my rolls.

Anyways, would this be in fact a good team to shoot for, or are there things which need to be worked on and modified? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

From the way your team build looks, do you know you only use BFCs once in a tournament? You don't just include them on your team. But about the team, add in the new Fantastic Four feat card and you're good to go. LE Invisible Woman would be better though...

Actually I didn't know you could only have one battlefield condition. Which one should I use though, Astral Plane or Low Gravity?

Well the issue is..... in a three round tournament you would bring both.

One round you would have to use neither.

One round you would have to use one,

and the remaining round you would have to use the other.


for BFCs it's [number or rounds]-1= [number of BFCs you bring]


and they are like uniques. You can only have one of each type in your "Hand" for the tourney, and you have to bring a dummy card.
