i just recently got a case of fantastic forces and i just put team together using some of the figures and feats. Being a marvel only collectro, i was over joyed with thunderbolts, as it meant i now had access to the dc feats i had never had till now. So i may my team with severe wilcard abuse in mind but then realized something. Here's the situation

I have a E moonknight on the team with thunderbolts on him, which i had intended to usually copy mystics with. I also had a V invisble girl with the FF feat card. I intended to use both these abilities at once on one of my wilcard characters, but then realized i might not be able to. After looking over the rules wording i'm almsot sure i can't. But i want to make sure. Can i use the two abilities together or not?

No. You may only copy one ability at a time. Moonknight may copy Mystics, and he can copy alternate FF, but not at the same time.

no no, you misunderstood me. I didn't intend for moonknight to copy both, i know he can't. I meant can a wilcard character, someone with the spiderman or minion of doom ability copy both at once.

No, WildCards can copy one ability per action. That means if your opponent targets Spider-man and you copy Alternate Fantastic Four and your opponent hits that 19 Defense you cannot say "OK now I'm a Mystic, take a click", b/c it's the same action. As an aside, I was under the impression you could not use Thunderbolts to give Avengers the Alternate Fantastic Four TA.

You are correct Absolut, you cannot use Thunderbolts to give an Avenger the alternate FF TA.

That Hokie is also correct about the wildcard timing too.

Duh... boy am I dumb. I got so fixated on answering the question about Wildcards, I went and wrote "Moonknight" instead of "Wildcard".

Ditto to what aboslutvt69 and funky said. Thunderbolts can not use alternate FF. They can use Mystics. A wildcard on a team with an alternate FF and a Tunderbolting Mystic can copy the TAs, but only one per action. You may not copy both at the same time.
