It says so CLEARLY in the instructions....I'm referring to rules that came inserted along with the booster packs...
...A requisite for a feat card with team abilities must have that Team Ability printed on its base. WILDCARDS THAT MIMIC THIS TEAM ABILITIES DO NOT COUNT.
Please clarify - and I'm hoping that I'm dead wrong.....otherwise I just got my Sue Storm LE for nothing

1) You MUST have a F4 member on your team to use the card. If you do not have a F4 member on your team, your wildcards cannot copy the F4 ability to use the card.
2) If you have Sue (or any one or more of the F4) on your team, then she can use the Feat and your wildcards can copy off of her.
3) You can use the Thunderbolts card to copy the original F4 ability (the click of healing when one bites it), but you cannot use Tbolts to copy the Alternate F4 from the Feat card.
4) You can use the Tbolts card to copy the original F4 ability and your wildcards can copy that F4 ability. Still no one gets to use the card.
Does that help?
In my day, we didn't have Heroclix. If you were being attacked by Superman with a 3d dumpster, you just had to hope you could outrun him.
Right...I'm hearing you....
But it states clearly that wildcards can't copy this TA to use the feat. Even if I had Sue Storm - my Spider man 2099 can't copy it, because the F4 is not printed on it's base!
i honestly think the figures should have the FF or Avengers TA printed on the base to use these alternative feats so wildcards cant copy therefore not as abused
these cards are sick
luckily i managed to beat a 500 pt team today that have con le IW, r songbird, loki & a few other MoD...... was hard & i had to play slightly cowardly in the beginning using my cheap figs as walls but i manged to pull out a pretty good win
my team was
U Loki
Ult Thor + forti
U Black Queen
Jane Foster
R Con artist x2
proffesor storm pog
r robin (which was useless as the opponent copied for ultimates)
i lost all my con artists & pogs... the rest i managed to keep alive... we played on outdoor indy map just to be different for a change & it was nice

The prerequisit TA is there to determine who can be assigned the Feat before the game begins (so you could assign the Feat to X-men or Masters of Evil). Once the game starts, those FF figures (like your Sue Storm LE) essentially have a different TA description listed on the PAC. Since the description does not say that it can't be copied by wildcards (unlike, say, Power Cosmic), then the wildcards can copy that TA just like any others written on the PAC.

beautiful......hahhaahhaha
and to think I was just about to retire on Heroclix....I'm really happy with all the adjustments and changes that they've made, and that we'll soon come to see.
I've always thought that after they took out NAAT (yeah, I've been wanting to quit since then), I just always thought that if you wanted to play SERIOUSLY, you couldn't win without TK. Now battles have become so "stagnant" in a sense that nobody wants to make that first move so that they wouldn't be victim to the TK------>hit combo.
But now, since with the release of Pounce, Transporters, Stealth w/Deep Shadows, etc... it's bringing the game back to the more "balanced" level - now with scenarios expected to be tournament legal and standard, I have a feeling we're going to see a lot more mixed and creative teams out there...which is bringing a lot of fun back to this game.....just like this new FF Feat Sorry buddy...my Sue Storm LE is here to stay!
What that phrase means is this... Before the game, you make your team. You decide to trade Sue to me (please!), so you have no figures with the F4 team ability printed on their bases. You say, I am going to make Dr. Doom (a wildcard) a F4 figure so I can make use of the new Alternate F4 feat card I have. Sorry... that doesn't work.
And then there's all that stuff normalview said as well...

Your logic is sound and has corrected me. I would like to point out that the FF feat card states have the following TA instead of the FF. Thunderbolts is (I believe) different in that it states "but their team affiliation does not change."
