This has probably come up already, but can you use Double Time with HSS Option 1?
Sort of.
You can use Double Time to let Flash move 40 squares per turn, but you can not make any attacks during your move. It says so right on the Double Time card.
The real question is : Can you still ignore characters' bases?
HSS is a move action so it could very well be "yes" BUT is the attack portion of HSS option 1 optionla? (i.e. does it say "MAY")
If it is, then HSS'ers just got better for the simple fact they can go wherever they want (28 speed Nightcrawler that can ignore bases? Ooh yeah!) in one turn (hello medic-killing efficiency!
If it is not optional, then it would have to be either HSS or DT....
Keep in mind that Double Time can only be used by grounded figures or transporters. Nightcrawler, Impulse/Kid Flash, Flash (REV and unique), and Jolt can use Double-Time (for example), but they can't carry anyone with them.
So you can base the medics, but then you have to either push to attack (after you've already taken one click of pushing damage) or clear and -then- attack.
Sounds very risky to me, and probably not worth the effort. I'd rather just use Phasing/Teleport with Sidewinder or Lockjaw.
everyone takes a click if they use doubletime, even power cosmic silver surfers.
cheers

But he wouldn't mee the prerequisits *before* the game begins, so you couldn't assigne the Feat to him in the first place.
From the General FAQ:
In order to be assigned a Feat card, the character(s) must meet the prerequisites at the time of force construction. If a figure cannot meet the prerequisites somewhere on its dial, then it cannot be assigned that Feat card.

From the Double Time Feat card (Yes, right on the card. Last sentence, in fact):
At the end of the move, if the character is not a transporter, deal it 1 pushing damage that ignores Willpower and team abilites.
