so does armor peircing make the damage from damage sheild go throw imperv,toughness,invuln?

Yes, but remember that 1) Damage Shield only activates in respose to Close Combat Attacks (Ranged attacks are safe) and 2) Damage Shield has a whole bunch of prerequisits so make sure you can actually *use* Damage Shield (if your opponent Outwitted Impervious so they could hurt you, and Impervious was your only prerequisit Power for Damage Shield, it won't activate with Impervious countered).

Damage Shield and Armor Piercing go together nicely with a Wildcard character mimicking Stealth and Mystics, too.

Add Poison for a bonus. That'd be V Cloak. Very irritating, although too costly I think for what he gets you.

I'm thinking that I'm going to play a Tbolt team, declare Mystics, and equip as many people as I can with Damage Shield and Armor Piercing... you move in and hit me, and you get hit for an unavoidable two damage... now if only I could remember whether or not Firestar met the req's for Damage Shield...

we are having an areana match. darkness and poor teamwork in effect on each map and the maps are the small maps. 400pts,no hyper sonic speed or transporters. and basicly my team is ulti ex cap the 19 point wasp with thunder bolts vet cloak & dagger. cloak with damage sheild and armor piercing. long shot and vet spoiler. the wasp of course will be mystics each time. but i dont know..if you have any ideas on how to improve, opionins are welcome!
