Say I use thunderbolts to give FF hawkeye Sinister Syndicate TA and then he carries around V Bullseye, will this get around the -2 AV for transporters?
Transporter states: If it makes such an attack during its movement, it gets -2 to its attack value for the attack
Sinister Syndicate states: A member of this team may use the unmodified attack value of an adjacent friendly member of this team instead of its own.
So hawkeye's AV is -2, not bullseye's, but Hawkeye is not using his own AV but Bullseye's AV, transporter affects only hawkeye's value?
but it would probably work if the figure from whom the attacker borrows the AV is already in place and you just come to be adjacent to them at the moment of the attack.

If this were the case, Hawkeye would borrow the attack and then subtract -2.
but the AV are not switched hawkeye is using bullseye's AV "instead of his own" and the transporter ability targets hawkeye's AV, so its is reduced by to and then he uses bulleyes unmodifies value?

The transporter ability's penalty doesn't target anything, but I understand what your objection is. However, as a general rule "first replace, then modify." If you can get a +2 from ES/D after Fan4-ing your defense, you can get a -2 from Move and Attack (aka Drive-By) after SinSyn-ing.
TRADES. eBay.
An Admin told me that I'm "too smart" for Another Realm. I hold that as a standing order.
but it's all a matter of timing (since you can't use, say ICWO with FF4 TA since you modify THEN you replace...or with the new sidekick feat) but maybe you're right on this one : both of the abilities take place at the moment of the attack. So it could be argued that you can choose the order of things (like when you choose to apply poison damage before Outwit wears off). Someone PLEASE take this to Hair10 on the WK forum (I never went there....too much problems when I'm at work, damnable "games" in web address).....
Unless of course it has been already ruled or I missed some other thing....but the way I see it, could go both ways
