Supreme Power: Nighthawk #1 - Rated 8 - Talk about Ultimate Batman. Il loved "The Joker". Basicly, it's just the set up issue. We are introduced to Nighthawk, his "Gordon" and we get the history of "The Joker". Plus it's all like hard-core. Good stuff!
Uncanny X-Men #464 - Rated 8 - I gave it a point for the art. Love it. Someone PLEASE explain to me what Psylocke was FLYING! Anyways, the girls are trying to protect TJ but Callisto and the others try to stop them, and they end up doing it and capture TJ. Also, another Excalibur character shows up (the half-sentinal girl) to arrest/kill Brian for being a traitor. He of course fights. Eh... It was going good till about the last 3rd then it got choppy. Bad editing maybe? I don't know...
Hulk #85 - Rated 8 - To bad PAD is leaving the book. He writes an entertaining Hulk. Anyways, AIM tries to kill Hulk but he of course smashes them and continues to rule Australia. Magneto shows up thanking Hulk for his "aid" and says he can back to a peaceful life and he will send people to run Australia. Hulk tells him he's staying to rule and if Magneto tries to screw with him he will "Come down on him like the fist of God." I loved that line.
HoM #6 - Rated 6 - I love how Bendis straight up denies that he pads his arcs. Heres what happens in this issue: The heros talk and then attack and they find out Xavier is missing. That's it. Atleast half the book is them talking about stuff. I mean i get that it's drama but seriously it's to much. What's taken this story 6 issues to do could have been done in 3 in the old days. ALSO: It would seem Jessica Jones is living with Scott (Lang?) That was her wish? Hhhmmm
Exiles #69 - Rated 7 - Seems Cal can;t get rid of Deadpool's regen thus leaving him scarred. Beak want's to go home but 616 is having a problem (HoM). They go anyways and find the world they know now really different. Beak tracks down his wife who is not a popular model (because before she was trailor trash skanky). She doesnt remember him and leaves. Soon she is attacked by some entity who looks to want to go after theExiles next.... It was alright. Good humor by Morph. Love Blink...
Cable & Deadpool #19 - Rated 8 - A serious issue. Very light on the comedy. It's basicly the tale of DPs and Cable's childhoods, neither wants to tell the other the whole truth... up until the end. It was good. It really helped to see them as "friends". I was expecting more odd ball DP humor as usual but this does just as well.
Ultimate Spider-Man #82 - Rated 8 - Alright, I know that Felicia is "wild" but YEESH does she have to come off as a complete skank? Her and Spidy escape was the cops show up and she basicly THROWS herself all over him (lucky Peter). She does everything BUT take her clothes off for him. Now, had I beenhim I;d have hit like no ones business but this is Peter Parker and he FLED but later thoughthow cool it was that she was so "into him". To bad BC doesn't know that Peter is still a teenager in high school....
Ghost Rider #1 - Rated 10 - Holy carp was that awesome. And you knwo what? It's about Johnny Blaze. What I don't get is when this tale takes place. Cause it must be before Danial because Blase eventully found out that the GR aspect was demon called Zarathos and they got split up). It's set up where Blaze (as Ghost Rider) was captured by demons and taken to Hell where he is tortured every day and night. A couple of Angels want to set him free so he can hunt a demon on the loose (or something). The cover frickin rules. Get this if you like Ghost Rider AT ALL.

Ya, I just hate it when writers waist time with stuff like character development, story, to plant some plot seeds or foreshadow etc...
Maybe it was Langs wish to live with Jessica.
Theres only one Return, and it ain't of the King, its of the Jedi.
Then again, Gwen and Ben are/were both dead and they are in HoM.
Well, that was part of Peter's wish, that Ben and Gwen be alive again. I dunno what hawkeye's deal is yet. Maybe Wanda subconciously wished she hadn't killed him.
Of course it was. It would have been bad story telling with no development to the characters, no weight to the situation etc... if Cyclops jsut said "We have not hold back, do what we have to do" and everyone agree's in 2 panels. He's making it a story, something to read and get into rather then just guys in tights punching each other. Its like comparing a movie like Transportter 2, which nothing but action, and the Rock, which has some great action in it but also slows down and takes the time to develop the characters and story. I perfer the storys (book, comic, movie - whatever) like the Rock and thats how Bendis write's his books and thats how hes writing House of M.

And Lang is dead......You never actually saw Hawkeye die. You never saw a body
But hes back alive, she can clearly bring people back, whos to say she can't grant a dead person's wish if hes brought back to life in her new reality? As why he and Hawkeye are alive, its simple. When Scarlet Witch created the new reality she changed the history as well, they were never Avengers, she never went crazy and thus they were never in the positions that killed them in the first place. And would you just accept it already, HAWKEYE DIED. They may bring him back at the end of House of M (and if they don't, I'm sure they will at some point down the line) but, as of today, HES DEAD. I didn't see a body for Ultimate Hawkeye either, but theres not debate abotu whether or not he's dead.

Ghost Rider is incredible. The storylline was way better than anything I have read in a long time. And to see how the angels handle mortals seeing them is just pure poetry.

In Ulthar, no man may kill a cat. In Utah, no man may marry a cat. These rules were made because of the ramifications of them happening before.

I have no problem with how Black-Cat or Spider-Man actedin this book. As for Black-Cat, I'm sure you know at least one woman who would throw themselves without a second thought at someone like Brad Pitt, Viggo Mortenson, Jude Law (whoever - and the applys for men) if they had the chance. Doesn't make them skanks, we just get that way with public figures. In the Ult. Marvel U Spider-Man is a celeb. on a similiar level as those Hollywood "heart throbs". Shes just a woman who likes him, got the oppertunity most woman don't, and do what a lot would do. Nothing about it makes her a skank. As for Peter, hes a 15 year old BOY whos only had any experience with one girl, now hes got this woman INCREDABLY attractive woman throwing herself at him, he just doesn't/didn't know how to handle it.

-We chall see about hsi death. All we see is the gun go off. Don't forget that Wanda MAY have been back to get her purse. I'm willing to bet that she arrvies JUST in time to save him.
What I thought was funny about HoM was how Bendis realized and wrote in the major plothole to the story and then totally ignores it.
So let's see: this world is great and everyone's happy. There's no big problems (at least compared to the ones before), no surpluses of evil villains running around, mutants are now on top of humans socially (nothing gained or lost on this one), and everyone is happy and satisfied with their lives. So....why do we want to get rid of this?
And what makes it really funny is that Bendis can't even answer it. Wolverine just grunts and makes a wiseass comment and Emma or some other talking head says "we have to try!" Why? Why bother going back to a crummy world when a utopia is right in front of you? Just because it's not "real?" Then go back to forgetting it's not real and live a happy life.
Either this story has a gaping plothole in it or it's ripped off of The Matrix. Or both.
My only hope is that the Big Lebowski kills me before the Germans can cut my d### off.

I'd hardly call it Utopia. Any non mutant is a second class citizen in every single sense of the concept. Humans have less rights, are allowed to be abused by mutants, must bow before mutants, etc. It's more or less like segregation during the 50s and 60s here in the US, or Aparteid in South Africa.
It's everything the Xmen are against (mutants or humans totally dominating the other).
I think it's pretty obvious why they want to overthrow it (especially the Avengers). Not to mention everything is run by the 'high and mighty' Magneto, who runs secret operations to liquidate any humans who stand in his way.
"Un-fun Dad, un-fun Dad,
He's so bad, he mak'a me mad
Un-fun Dad, un-fun Dad
He's a real cad, Un-fun Dad"

Maniac_nmt explained why they want to fix it, I'd just add that after Luke Cage finds out he's about to have a baby with Jessica Drew (or was) he tries to call her, even though he doesn't know her. It a lot of cases they were happy before they knew what happened, but like Cage, would take in the bad of their normal world for what they made for themselves rather then just live with that Scarlet Witch gave them.
Bendis doesn't side step it, he addresses it, thats part of the reason for the big conversation in the middle of issue 6, Jessica Jones brings up the same questions and even goes a step further to suggest its just the next step in evolution, thats how Mutants become the dominate species on the planet.

So great especially the last page where we find out theri destinations for the next year. Its all of those neglected universes of marvels that have ceased to be. From 2099 to Squadron superme all the way to the New Universe (Maybe we will see a few Ultraverse characters in this series eventually too) and the return of Punisher 2099 my second fave charcater of that era behind only DOOM. Although I know most of the universe I never read the New Uni titles Does anyone know anything about them?
