I was fortunate enough to get my comics yesterday. I really liked this book. The books leading up to it have been ok but I really liked this one for some reason. I have never really been a Scott Summers fan. Well, honestly I do not like him at all. I have always found his brother a more interesting character. But, I loved his dialogue in this book. When he was pepping up the team in the middle of the book it was great. I will not tell anyone what he said because I do not think that too many people haver read it at this point. I also really liked the ending. I am very excited about the next issue.
Also, does anyone know anything about the Decimation series that is coming out after House of M? I do not know anything about it and just heard of it a few days ago.
I liked this issue too, a nice change from the last two that kinda bored me a little. I especially liked a few of the smaller touches like Spidey being shaken up by everything that's happened and Luke Cage trying to reach Jessica Jones.
The fight at the end looks like it could be a good one, although seeing Rogue plunge hands first into Storm and Namor may make it a quick one. With all those heroes assembled and really pissed off, I'm not sure how the House of Magnus will be able to fight them off. Of course, they do still need to find Xavier.
Am I the only one who thinks that it looks like Mags got vaporized by cycs optic blast? Cause he hits him with it and then just red smoke and then the sentinal falls right after.....
Am I the only one that also read the House of M Thunderbolts issue? Where Genis-Vell blows up or something since he realizes something's wrong? Then he shows up just fine in the House of M?
I know Bendis likes to think he's a continuity maven by just throwing out names he's heard without proper research, but c'MON - ORGANIZE your OWN GIANT MEGA CROSSOVER EVENT, please.
