DM was kind enough to review my calculations and he found a few errors i made (it was not intentional, honest!). Fortunately, it doesn't affect my recruiting or upgrading...

Hence, below are my corrected calculations:

Team total: 321 points, with Trick Shot 341.

With my team at 321, my squad would be (321, rounded to 300, divided by 2 = 150 + 50 =) 200 points.
If the Feat is included in the point total for my team, then my squad would be (341, rounded to 350, divided by 2 = 175 + 50 =) 225 points. Right?

I hope this is all correct now. That was a lot of recalculation, and i apologize for the confusion...

The team looks great but two things.

1. Double check your exp from your last training if you haven't already. (DM may have told you about this already).

2. As far as I'm aware on game sizes we always round up. So 321 rounds to 350. Halved is 175. + 50 gives you a squad size of 225.

With Upgraded Wanda, New Iron Man dials and Ant-Man the WCA looks like it's ready to go!

Avengers Assemble!!!

I read the rules, and they said:
"Round your team’s build total to the nearest increment of 50. (If your team is 296 points, it would be rounded to 300. If your team is 311 points, it would be rounded to 350.)"
The first sentence contradicts the second, to my mind. I was going by the first.

Yup, feats don't count in game size calculations.

And Vance is correct the game sizes alwasy round up to the next 50 increment.

Thats why the 311 to 350 example was in the rules.

So You can actually fit Iron Man and Wonder Man in the same issue now! Well with the new Iron Man at 89 point you can fit a lot with him :-)

The man who claimed to be Zemo stirred and Simon was upon him in seconds. "Who are you? Why do I know you?"

Zemo smiled under his skin tight mask, and said one word, "Judas."

Simon's eyes glazed and without saying a word he flew up to the ceiling and rammed full force in to the rock above. Hundreds of tons of rocks rained down, seperating the heroes from the recovering villains.

Everyone was in dumbfounded shock as Simon stood motionless and un-blinking.

Iron Man was the first to react. "Have you gone insane Williams, answer me damn you!"

Sersi held up her hand to quiet the Golden Avenger and approached Simon. "He is under the effect of a deep hypnotic suggestion. The man called Zemo appears to have placed a trigger word in your large friend's mind at some time in his past." Sersi reached out and touched her finger's to Wonder Man's head, "Simon."

Wonder Man's eyes flickered to life and he collapsed.

"SIMON!" cried Wanda, running to his side.

Sersi nodded, obviously pleased. "I have removed the conditioning and unlocked some suppressed memories, our friend should have some interesting tales to tell I think.

Simon took a deep breath, from habit rather than from the need to actually breathe, and began his tale.

"As you all know I work as a stuntman and part time actor. Tony approached me and convinced me that my unique abilities should be used to help people...and that it could be good publicity." Simon smiled faintly then pushed on.

"What he didn't know, what none of you knew is that I had an older brother named Eric. Some of you will know him by his assumed name, the Grim Reaper."

"Dear God Simon, he was a super villain! I even fought him, I was there when he..." Iron Man's voice trailed away to nothing.

"When he died Tony? It's ok to say it, I know you were indirectly to blame for his death during a fight but believe me I don't blame you...atleast not now. But there was a time when all I had was a brother's love and a burning need for revenge.

I threw around what money I had left from the sale of the family business, greased criminal palms across the country until I came in to contact with a man that said I should speak to a guy in South America. That man was Baron Zemo.

I went to visit the Baron in his South American compound, I found his Aryan guards and militaristic leanings distasteful, but the desire for revenge overwhelmed everything. The Baron had indeed known my brother and was impressed by my hatred, he said he would give me the means to enact my revenge on you.

Using an un-tested device liberated from Germany just before the fall of the Third Reich, the Baron bombarded me with chemicals and radiation, hoping to duplicate the process that created an old captain America villain named Master Man, but the results were far more impressive than even he could have hoped.

Iconic energy merged with the cells of my body, granting me vast strength, nigh invulnerability and removed my need to eat, drink or breathe. I was to be the perfect weapon and nothing could stop his plan, nothing except a change of conscience. While I was preparing to leave I heard some of the Baron's men talking about the experiments he had performed on the native population to perfect the process he used on me. It was as if a veil fell from my eyes, never have I felt as ashamed as I did at that moment.

I confronted Zemo is his lab, the monster merely laughed at me. In a fit of rage I destroyed some of the lab equipment and there was a huge explosion. His compund was destroyed and I staggered out, barely alive, and fell in to a coma. Some natives found me in the jungle and nursed me back to health. When I recovered either injury or guilt had blanked these events from my mind, I remembered nothing beyond my trip to South America. I could not explain my newfound abilities, truth be told I convinced myself I must be a mutant and the manifestation of my powers had caused the memory loss. The human mind is great at hiding the truth it seems.

So here I sit before you, a criminal from a family of criminals. I am not fit to call you friends. I am so sorry Tony, I let you all down." Simon hung his head in silence as Wanda stroked the back of his head.

Iron Man considered this for awhile then turned to Sersi. "This 'episode' he experienced, you said he was programmed, and that you erased it completely?"

Sersi nodded, "Everything he did he did without conscious control, the Baron probably added it as he performed the experiment, as a safeguard. The work was very sloppy and easy to remove, he is now completely his own man.

Iron Man stood. "Then as his own man I see no reason for him not to continue as an Avenger.

Simon's head shot up in suprise, "But you can't mean that, my brother..."

"Your brother is not you. He was a criminal and a despicable human being, where as you are one of the finest men I have ever been fortunate enough to call friend." Iron Man held out his hand, "So what do you say...Avenger?"

Simon stood and firmly gripped his hand, "Avenger!"

"One for all and all for getting out of these damn caves!" interrupted Hawkeye. "If you two are about done making out let's get going already!"

The Avenger's plane landed on the pad at Avengers Mansion and the weary team limped across the lawn. It had been a rough week and they were all looking forward to a nice relaxing...

Suddenly the ground shook and a section of the lawn disappeared in to a gaping hole. As the Avengers prepared to fight the familiar armored helm of Iron Man popped in to view. "Hey folks, no need for alarm, just thought we didn't see enough of each other."

Cap sighed, You know Tony this is your house and you're welcome anytime, but why not the front door?"

"You had a terrible problem with Gophers, but we took care of it," quipped the Golden Avenger.

Cap laughed, "Well since you're here you may as well come in and tell us all about it. Infact why don't you all stay a few days, we can have our first official Avengers get-together."

The two times warmly greeted each other, trading stories and jokes as they walked to the mansion. Un-noticed, Simon walked at the rear, lost in thought.

'Good thing that Witch didn't dig any deeper eh little brother?' Said the voice in Simon's head, 'It would have been a shame to ruin the suprise, especially since it was her that woke me up'.

Simon smiled and took Wanda's hand as he entered the mansion, the voice laughing in his head.
