The games are 15 rounds (30 total turns/15 turns each) there is still loads of time (if that is what you were commenting about ).

Although DavH, if you could list your turn # as well that would be most helpful.

Anyways anybody heard from Clix? I dont think ive seen him post for a while.

As Lord Recluse knocked Brian against the wall he could feel the pull starting. He held up his hand and could almost see it becoming less substantial.

He established the link with Emma again.

"Well it seems that my time here is almost done."

"Well don't let the door knock hit you on the way out."

"My dear ice queen..........do they even use that term on this back water world? It doesn't matter. I may be leaving but I sincerely doubt that this is the last we've seen of each other."

With one of his outer arms he raised the gem he held it show Emma it clearly, with a flick of his arm he sent it flying in a high arc towards Emma.

"You're just going to give it to me?" Emma was confused.

While they had been talking Emma had missed the signal Lord Recluse had given his mage. She had disappeared and reappeared behind both Scott and Hank. A quick spell had them both in mystical restraints that and brought them both to her Lords side.

"No."

Lord Recluse took a closer look at Scott

"Really? This one? How boring.................well what can one expect from such a back-water place. But while he and the blue one are my........guests I might find out why."

Just them Wolverine charged Brian and the two started a brutal fight.

"Oh yes, I almost forgot. That was a little trick I was saving for a special occasion and despite what you've shown me today I still think you might be worth such effort. Those two won't be able to stand the sight of each other until you do something that is so against your character that it will teak at your soul to break the enchantment."

Emma had a bad feeling about this crawling down her spine. She thought to herself how could this get any worse.

But as most people who ask that question find out, it just did. (*-DM)

"Bloody hell."

"Ah, another acquaintance to add to the plot. Oh and a powerful one at that. NAd here I thought I might have to leave you a way to find me. Lady Frost I must take my leave now, but I eagerly await our next meeting."

With that his mage created a door way for her to take the two prisoners wiht them a moment after they were through Lord Recluse faded from sight.

Eventually Emma managed to pry Brain and Logan off of each other.

"You scruffy little midget I'll tear you in two!"

"Just try it, bub."

"Enough!" screamed Emma, "Brian you have to leave, now!"

Brian stared her down and then started to hover off the ground, "This isn't over little man." Then he flew off at top speed.

Logan started to rub his temples, "My head is pounding, I could barely think."

Emma's fist closed around the gem. "Come on Logan we have a delivery to make."

Back on Muir Island

Emma and Logan walked in to find Marie and Moira monitoring the huge patient that looked like he was in even worse shape than when they left.

"Oh thank heaven ye'returned. I was beginning to think ye weren't going to make it in time...............where are the rest of the X-men?" Asked Moira as she realized that only Emma and Logan had returned.

"There were some complications." replied Logan, "Here, the stone. Now what?"

"Now ye should all step back and leave the rest to him." As Moira was talking she placed the gem in the patients hand, "Cain, it's here."

The large patient awoke and clenched his fist, feeling the powerful artifact in his hand.

Emma leaned over to Logan, "Are we sure about this?"

Logan scoffed, "It's what Hank would have done."


"Whosoever touches............. this..............this gem shall possess the power............of................ of the Crimson Bands of Cyttorak............... Henceforth, you who read these words shall............... become forevermore a human juggernaut!"

As Cain finished the words of the spell red energy from the gem enveloped him. When the color reseeded the form of a fully healed and powered Juggernaut appeared in the room. As he looked over himself he saw that he was fully healed fro the grievous injuries he had received from the government super team.(**-DM)

Logan stepped in front of Moira and unsheathed his claws. SNIKT!

Cain laughed, "What are you going to do short stuff?"

"Only what I have to, if that."

Cain looked to Moira he wanted to say something for all that she did................but he had had a hard life and he couldn't find the words. Instead he started to walk off and stopped as he reached the stairs, "Maybe some other time, runt."

And with that he just walked out.

Marie looked at Emma and Logan, "What are you going to do now?"

Logan and Emma shared a worried look, "We don't know."

The X-men are going to take a break for a bit but I'm sure they'll be back...............no one talks to Emma like that.
