Really, you won't play a single attacking figure without charge or RS?
Black King is clearly better than most chargers in his point range. Connor Kent, anyone? R FF Juggernaut? R Sub-Mariner? Statesman I? (and I like that Statesman, for the record). And most of these figures are only moving and attacking from four spaces away; that can't trump what Black King brings to the table.
OTOH, yes, in that same point range there's some very good chargers that I'd probably choose over Black King, like Superwoman and Persuader, in particular. But neither of them have the stats or the health that Black King has.

From the Sinestro rules: If a player does not give a big figure Sinestro an action for that turn, that player removes all action tokens from the big figure Sinestro.
From the Sentinel rules: If a player does not give a big figure Sentinel an action for that turn, that player removes all action tokens from the big figure Sentinel.
From the Dark Phoenix rules: If Dark Phoenix’s controller does not give Dark Phoenix an action on his or her turn, that player removes all action tokens from Dark Phoenix at the end of that turn.
From the Galactus rules: Galactus can be pushed even when it has two action tokens; it does not take pushing damage. If you assign an action to Galactus when it already has two action tokens, do not mark it with another action token.
Since all versions of the Big Figure rules refer to tokens, there should be no debate as to whether or not they gain more than 1 token The only question is this - do all Big Figs stop at 2 tokens like Galactus or to the other 3 keep adding tokens when they keep pushing?
On the other big figs, it says remove "ALL action tokens," not "BOTH action tokens." Guess that about covers it.

I actually like all of this. Black King looks plenty playable, even without movement powers. I don't think they're as necessary as everyone else seems to.
Well it isn't necessary on every figure but if are solely a close combat attacker who gets Super Strength later but doesn't start with it..I'd say it is.
The way he is set up you would alot of times be in base contact with someone who knocks him onto his Super Strength clicks and then you can't pick up an object to attack. He should of had a little Charge or at least started with Super Strength...he does absorb enough energy in the morning so that he has super strength all day so it wouldn't be inaccurate. He should of also had some Impervious or Regeneration..as it is now he just keeps getting beat on and beat on until he is KOed...but continually taking hits of 3 damage doesn't take out Black King...

Why? It's more fair than Bright Lights is to Stealth or Isolation is to characters with Defend.

Well you have to realize that you consider tokens as a whole, not individually,...like when you have two tokens you don't get to do things that you can only do when you have one token...even though you do have one token since you have to to have two as you said...

Do you realize that they DID hire a new guy to design this set?
Did anyone realize the synergy of Large Object and Armor Wars?

Um...Wizkids just released two of the BEST higher point figures in their last two sets and you don't think they want us to play with them?
What they want is balanced play and the way it was before the uber high point figs with a little support were unfairly hard to beat....I think they are starting to get the balance more..well...balanced.

They do have Toughness though and that is effected. So those teams do take a downfall since the Lockjaw's are used to soak up damage.

Sorry for my ignorance but who is the White King in heroclix?
Heroclix 5th Anniversary: Expect Nothing...you won't be as disappointed that way.
Really, you won't play a single attacking figure without charge or RS?
Well I do because for the last 8 months I've had the prize support at my venue so I have just played theme teams.
In competitive play I play figures w/o M and A powers, their usually Jean Grey, Paramedic, DEO Agent, Black Panther or other support figures. There are so many figures now you can always find a better figure that can move and attack. Thats why 78% of the new primary / secondary attack figures have a MaA power. That's why I play more DnD mini's then Heroclix Unfortunately i am a comic book nut ... so despite the fact that we only have 3 usuable power slots left I continue to purchase plastic heroin. And cons are always fun also
However, I've played (futile as it is) enough Hulk and Abomination to know how bad no move/attack close combat figures are.
The opponent just gets carried away or breaks away. Or just punches the stiff that stumbled up and stood there in front of the potential target.
I won't start up a rules rant since there are usually 3 or 4 of those simultaneously popping up all over.
Yeah, with Lockjaw able to provide blocking against other attackers, I'm failing to see the downside of moving Black King in base with anyone. They want to try and break away, fine. Lockjaw and Black King are pushable. The piece they're trying to protect probably won't be.
Then why use Black King ? Just use a Mastermind figure. I mean the theme is already out the window. Just play Veteran Icons Joker w/ Armor Piercing.
If your objective is to win and use Lockjaw to chase down your opponent, then in that point range Joker is much better. Black King is ####, he is #### because of the current rules. I don't want him to be ####, but he is ####. I like comics, I have been waiting for a Black King forever I will play him. I will play him and lose.
I haven't talked about theme play at all on this thread, so I'm not sure why you bring that up. The only comic I've read with BK in it is Astonishing X-Men #12, so I'm the last guy on these boards who'll be trying to build a theme around him.

Sorry if I was babbling incoherently, I was basically saying - if you are throwing thematics out the window then the better play with Lockjaw is Joker. Obviously neither makes much sense from a theme team sense. Though at least Black King is a Marvel character, I suppose we could see a Hellfire Club vs. Inhumans fight ... though that would be over pretty quick.
Shaw: "Hahaha Inhumans we shall destroy you and steal the secrets of the Terrigen mists !!!"
Sorry for my ignorance but who is the White King in heroclix?
The experienced IC Magneto (the one with the X-men team ability). During the time he was headmaster of Xavier's school he was also a member of the Hellfire Club and was their White King.

See the above answer. Yes, Pierce was the White Bishop, but he doesn't have TK. And since I was talking about Hellfire Club members with TK to fling Shaw at people...
Don't forget that because Armor Wars is a Battle Field Condition that you're effectively giving your opponent a free Armor Piercing shot against your whole team's defensive powers too.
