Plus, if you're using the Experienced Mutant Mayhem Spider-Man, consider the Alt. FF feat. It might come in handy when your CM version hits his 18 defense click. Then again, you vould just stick with the original fo the slight healing, so it's your call.

I had a team of Venom, Carnage, Ultimates Peter Parker, Universe Spidey (as Scarlet Spider) and J.Jonah Jameson. It didn't do so well...maybe if I add Spidey 2099...

I then have 5 points and have no Idea what to do with them for that. Swingline? Pogs? Don't know yet.

Swingline is good and thematic. Use it on Spidey 2099, you should.

Unstoppable is a good idea so the spideys don't hang up in hindering.

Most of the Spideys have Leap/Climb anyway, so I'm not sure why you would want to use it. Passenger, however, might work on one of them...

i ran a spider-clones team last week at the local venue and knocked the thor team out. lost to a cost-efficient U magneto team though. It was a TON of fun to play and not too shabby. here it is:

V Ultimates Spidey w/ pounce
V Mutant mayhem spidey
E mutant mayhem spidey w/ pounce
V universe spidey

that 18 defense stuck around a long time, and after he took a shot to the chops the other 3 have 17s to back him up. at least one of them won't get nailed for a long time, my opponents never missed so much. It was a thouroughly enjoyable game.

the round against magneto i made 6 supersenses rolls on top of all their misses.
crowning glory of that match: the first hit
ultimates spidey pounces up a building (via ladder) and nails V Havok with a fork lift, rolling knockback, off the building for two more.... first blood, and havok is off the map. The pounce click puts spidey on his first click of supersenses. Magneto hits him back with a RS and he nails the roll.

I like the 2099 figure but putting it into the Maximum Clonage team makes me think it's not Maximum Clonage anymore and more like Maximum Spider.

Still I'm looking forward to the House of M version and putting it in to see what I can do then in restricted.

Exactly. Pounce doesn't work with Leap/climb - however, with unstoppable, you could pounce without worrying about hindering.

Imagine a swarm of spideys hiding in the bushes (maybe using Bat Ally TA for stealth). Then... POUNCE! Full movement, out of the bushes, using unstoppable. Could be fun!
