so i was thinking of a good team to field this saturday and came up with this one

E spider-man (starter) w/ pounce - 55 points
sue storm w/ ff ata - 49 points
R songbird w/thunderbolts - 49 points
E jinx - 48 points
E batman (starter) w/ ICWO - 57 points
V doctor strange w/ ICWO - 120 points
E,V paramedic - 22 points

400 even

so what do you think, how will it do against a supes or lamp team? Is there anything i could change around

and what bfc's should i use/ what bfc's should i be afraid of

Very very similar to a team I had made a while back for this pre-release, which I ditched.

Here's the problem: Everyone is bringing a disbanded card with them.

that's true, disbanded could be a problem

but, this team, isn't totally hurt by disbanded, and i could o-day one round

I agree with Mr. Thawmus in that Disbanded will see a lot of PT at the Pre-Release.

It's a good team concept, but against a good LAMP team it would not be as effective. Alt. FF doesn't help against Poison, neither does Mystics (or Crossgen).

It would probably do fairly well against Supes, on the other hand...

but couldn't i just use dr strange's and batman's outwit to outwit the mastermind and blast them?

I personally really like this team. Ordinary day would get rid of disbanded if it's played in the first match you play. It's got enough guys that LAMP teams wouldn't be AS effective, as long as you spread your force out a bit, and didn't clump them together, which historically you ahven't done anyway. Power dampening field would be a BFC to keep in mind, as your team doesn't do a lot of damage. It's got some interesting avenues to go down, however, and multitasks in various areas. An intriguing use of the starter characters, to make them more useful.

I have a similar team ready, as well as another one.

Some people who use LAMP strategy don't bother with Fortitude.

However, the smart players who run LAMP use Fortitude because they expect to come up against teams with Outwit. They know that they can't always put Joker down in Stealth...
