If they did Hulk, It would probably be seen as a rip-off of the original Avengers and hated. Or it could be considered an homage to the originals and loved.

Or if BMB writes it they could just forget Hulk was ever an Avenger in the first place

Contary to what some people think when I post threads like this and defend my opinions and choices I DO listen to what other peopel say (just have to look at my custom dial threads) so here is a revised team I would like to see.

Hawkeye: No problems here, hes still the leader everyone likes

Warbird/Ms Marvel: Thought about putting War Machine there, but don't want to turn ito the Avengers light so I'm staying away from the Ironman clone.

Ironfist: Again everyone seemed to like this idea so he stays.

Black Cat: Some people liked the idea, some didn't, I do so she stays. I like her powers, her look and the concept of someone looking to make up for past "sins" on the team. Also a big of a loner which is always nice to have on a team.


New Memebers:

Marvel Boy (Noh-Varr): A less know, heavy hitter in the Marvel univeres and can control his bodies growth. Hes a Kree who believes/knows he is on Eartht o change the world. Hes is currently (as far as I know) being held captive by Shield, not hard to get him onto a government sponcored team.

Cannonball: As far as I know he still has his powers but is not on any X-Man team right now. Hes bee in the Marvel universe for a long time and is kinda floundering right now, good shake up for him.

Songbird: She was an Avenger in Avengers Forever so lets follow through on some contintunity and make her an Avenger now. Hawkeye asks her to join and she accepts his offer, simple as that.

You mean BMB has no clue who the people are he puts into his mags?

Just one last thing about Black Cat, she doesn't really have powers any more. Dr. Strange took them away a while back after she kept giving bad luck to those closest to her. As far as I know, she's currently just a girl who can kick butt.

And does anyone know what happened to the Genis/Rick Jones Captain Marvel? I really regret not picking up that series after I liked Avengers Forever so much, but he was a pretty cool character.

Hulks not a team player, but in the bad way. Hes (last I checked, I know this changes) just emotion no reason at all, hes not a guy who is capable of working with a team. Namor is capable of it, he's just difficult. Also this team woudl be completely independ of the New Avengers, workign for the Government/Shield - if anything they'd come into conflict with each other more then work together.

He gets weaker the further away from England he is, as far as I know.

If thats true (like Hulk it changes) shes still got all her skills and personality with make a her a good addiont to the team.

Genis is part of the new Thunderbolts. Haven't seen Rick Jones yet, so I don't know if he's still connected or not.

Sorry to be so quick to slam you earlier.
Anyway, I like this new lineup. It's got a lot of interesting things going on. Songbird joining would have neat aftershocks in the Thunderbolts, and Cannonball out of the shadows of the X-men could develop some real cool character.
And for the record, Captain Britain used to get weaker as he left Britain, but his new suit contains the power that once came from Britain within it, so as long as he isn't naked, he's golden.

But Britain's in Excalibur now, and I love Excalibur (well, not the Xavier/Magneto one, but the other ones!), so I won't move him off them.

I'd like to see Nova called up to the Avengers finally.

There are some really kool villains that would be awesome reformed. Pretty Pursuasion, Taskmaster, Agent X, Sandman, Sabertooth (which would rock against Wolvie!)
