I thought KC versions didn't count, like how Ultimates are different than 616. Thought Elseworlds were off limits?
Well, in the intial planning time (during draft) there was a conversation about it and almost everyone felt like while SOD Supes and Vamp Bats should be considered seperate characters (since their Elseworld) that KC vesion should be a part of the progression.
It was a player choice things, as your refs are humble servants to the people.
Just so you know that what I'm talking about, here are just some of the feedback concerning KC Characters.
The supporters of putting KC characters as part of the progression were very vocal. And people who disagreed didn't say anything. So it wasn't much of a debate.

I do think this needs to be rethought concerning the KC characters, though. Because if they are seperated out, KC Supes and Green Lantern are simply out (maybe not such a bad thing) -- since they are just too many points to get as base or draft.

Since it happens in the future as opposed to 'now' its a special case.
2099 is also in the future, but it's definitely a different Spidey to the current one, so that's a non-issue
And I just remembered that there's also Days of Future Past Wolverine. I see no reason why he could be considered a maxed out version of Wolvie. It would be silly to me if he was considered a seperate character.

KC Wonder Woman's goodish at higher points, but can't front a team... KC Batman is a joke... And KC Hawkman should be a nice reward to anyone dedicated enough to play through Hawkman's REV.
Wow, someone's defensive :-) I was just asking cause I remembered form the front page the Elseworlds don't count thing.
Not trying to be devensive at all. The only reason I put it up, is because a lot of player joined since then, and I wanted this available for anyone new as well. That way no one can say I'm being "biased" or "un-fair".
Also, DSF has Hawkman and Superman, and Iceman has Nightwing. They may not realize that their characters can eventually upgrade to their KC level. So I thought I'd put that there for everyone.
