Yea, the first hit by Jade that knocked out Protected doesn't get you an SA. You have to inflict damage unless it's a zero damage type attack like Mind Control, so you're adjusted stats are:

I've brought up a case against attacking Protected not getting you an SA. I have stated my points in the League Thread. They are as follows.

Attacking a character with Protected only burns Protected if you are "Succesfull" in the attack.

Forcing a character to use Protected forces a token (much like Incap) on that character as the result of the attack, therefore there is an "effect" on the target.

Once Protected is used, those 8 points go directly to your opponent, even if the character packing it isn't KO'd. How can you get points, but not get an SA.
