On the plus side, according to the recent Wizard article, the creative staff is roughly15 issues ahead of schedule at this point so once it starts rolling it should be consistant.
Yep, not taking a break from writing just because the launch date is back ^_^
Hmm, I wonder what issue they're on... probably mid/high-20s at least, since one per week means they're roughly 8~ weeks past the starting date now, and 15 issues ahead.
The thing is with 52 is that they can't afford to miss a single deadline. For this experiment to really succeed, it needs to get an issue out every week to tell the story of a full year in the time of a year. So I'm glad to hear they're already off and running on getting ahead on the issues.
My only hope is that the Big Lebowski kills me before the Germans can cut my d### off.
That would be Kevin Smith's ... "The Target" which ironically has missed the target more then any book ever conceived. It was supposed to be the series where Bullseye shed his costume and tattoo's the thing on his head to line up the comic with the POS movie. Then finish up in time for the Bendis issue where DD decimates him in Hells Kitchen and carves his forehead up with a rock.
That's an insane amount of writin' and drawin'. Kudos to them. I'm glad they've got a break....kinda.
I'm pretty sure there's several creative teams doing a "rotation" (i.e. - issue one is by team a, issue two by team b, etc.), but working in tandem so that everything flows well.
What do you care about a leggy dame in nylons? Or did I just answer my own qestion? - Zatanna, in BTAS.

Iirc, they aren't doing that, but breaking it up by page. So each one will work on all issues together, but only handling 1/4th the duties.
The guys they got are also all real pros. Experianced and used to deadlines.
