Is anyone else as psyched-up for this thing as I am? I mean, seriously...
Grant Morrison's writing The Authority and Wildcats !!!
I'm even hoping they can make The Monarchy worth a damn this time. I'd put Gaiman and Steranko on it if I had an endless supply of cash and the ability to control minds (but I think Steranko can already do that, and Gaiman's definitely getting close... ).

Yeah, I've been reading the Authority for...about 4 years now. I love 'em..They're my fav. super powered team. As for The Monarchy, I didnt think the story was all that bad...it just had a few weird twists. I wish they could have gone on a lil more, and been something greater than they were, but it seems that wasnt the case.
So Grants starting all over with new number 1's, or is he just going to continue with the 2nd run of the Authority?
New #1's, but continuing what was already started by the look of it. In other words... Quantum, not Sparks.
Yep. Morrison on Authority and Wildcats, Gail Simone on Gen13 (where The Intimates are coming back), Christopher Gage on Stormwatch, and Mike Carey (and Whilce) on Wetworks.
Wiki has a pic of The Authority V4 #1 cover... you can see what Morrison' going to do.
Yeah, I wonder if that has anything to do with the end of this whole Captain Atom: Armageddon series???
Guess not.
That ending was... lets just say, confusing. I think this is the first time I've seen a comic ret-con ITSELF. I mean, I guess none of that happened now, and nly Void remembers it.
But why did Captain Atom how up in Bludhaven? Wasn't he supposed to show up in the midde of the IC fight?!
Here we go again...

Ok, so he did spark the whole new creation thing, but I didnt understand part of the ending. Like the last box kinda threw me off. I mean, I know he was like, she saved their world, and now its time to save mine...does that mean that he missed the whole Infinite Crisis battle, and is now coming back to change things? I really enjoyed this series, and glad that they put together a good series to spark the changes. It's brought a whole new light to Cap Atom in my opinion.
I just cant wait for new Stormwatch, new Authority, and new Wildcats! I dont know much about Gen13 and the others....
As long as they manage to keep the wildstorm 'feel' that's been built up through Moore's WildCATS, Ellis's Stormwatch, the Wildcats v. 2 and 3, etc., I'll be happy!
