I think you guys need to step back and take a breather. Comic book covers are always over dramatized, I can't count the number of covers I've seen where it's claimed or indicated someone will die and nothing even close to that happened in the book. All that cover really tells me is that that issue will feature some super-villians, probably some Spiderman super-villians (big suprise considering how central his life has become to the overall story). It's possible that Cap's guys will rescue Spidey or some of his family from attack, and that that is the catalyst that will cause Spidey to switch sides, or maybe he already did and it caused himself and his family to no longer be protected. The only thing that is certain is that this is all speculation.
you mean like the recent cover to the FF (537?) with Dr Doom holding up the Uru Hammer of Thor when, in the book, he couldn't budge the thing? Well, doubt he could budge "The Thing" either, but in this case, by "thing" I meant the hammer of Thor.
But let us not forget, this is the age of comic book EIC's lying to the public, like the build up about Sentry, or the faux cover for an Astonishing X Men cover revealing the Phonex was back, when it was really the tin plated guy from Russia.
Well, leastways, in a recent Wolvie issue, he mentions he feels like people make him seem to be in ten places at one time. Rather nice jab that was.

There have been a number of hints dropped that around this issue some huge, controversial and tragic event will take place. I strongly doubt this is just a simple rescue mission. With his ID reveal among other things the forecast for Spider-man doesn't look good.
Well there not going to kill Spidey, because I bet you if they did, at least 100 marvel fans would commit suicide(even though they would reverse it eventually(spiderman dieing i mean)). But like Rando said, Marvel just wants you to buy the books(which I am doing, lol) and they will say anything for you to buy it. I can see that this is where spidey switches sides, because I can see this happening:Spidey is being attacked, by let's say green goblin and bullseye, and he calls iron man and says he needs help, since he and his family are in danger at the moment, and iron man will saying something like he's busy along with everyone else. So spidey will hold them off for a while, but will start getting his ### kicked, and one of them will go after MJ, and Cap and the Young Avengers come flying in and save him. And then (i'm hoping for this) spidey kicks iron man's ###! This is just my little prediction.

He already does that in sales.
I got to admit, years ago, IM was one of my faves, till shortly after the War Machine run, when Tony "came back" from the dead (which, thankfully, was NOT a retcon) Then, he became an ###, and then killed a few innocent people, which, they don't mention these days, nor do they mention Teen Tony, who took Elder Tony's place, after Elder Tony died (again).
Wish they'd just freakin off the bastard for good.
doesn't absolve him of guilt. Heck, even years later, he wanted to kill the bad guy (Kree Supermor) which, Cap was against. Course, Supermor wasn't and isn't gonna be someone one could consider an "innocent", but still... killing is killing. I sided with Cap then, I side with him now. There's got to be another answer. (in that case, they should've had Ketch/Ghost Rider go and give Supermor the ole Penance Stare).

Well I certainly hope so. I have a suspicion that Cap may be arrested though.

If Cap got arrested, I could see a whole issue where all his commrades make a plan, and bust him out, and by plan I mean get cloak and dagger to teleport in his jail cell and then teleport out......That shouldn't be to hard.

They did something like that in a What-If tale, ab out Galactic Storm. Cap was captured, one of the other heroes snuck in and took his place, so cap was free... I think it was Clint (Hawkeye). I can't remember exactly how they did it, I think it was with Pym particules.
