I know at one time Marvel did a what if type storyline based on the DC characters and DC might have done the same thing with the Marvel characters. What were the titles of these books, interested in finding them.

Anyway- DC recently did a story that ran in Superman/Batman, where they played homage to the Ultimates, with a group called the Maximums.

For Marvel- The Squadron Supreme is an homage to the JLA.

Also, the Squadron Sinister is similar to the CSA, and

the Legion of Super-Heroes are similar to the Shiar' Guard.

Doomsday/ Hulk...The Superman/Doomsday Trade just came out, and is essentially a follow up to the Death of Superman storyline

there were the 'stan lee presents' superman, wonder woman, batman, etc.
dont remember how long ago they came out, but stan lee had a different take on the classic DC characters, and iirc there was a continuous story going on in the background of those books

Yes, I saw that a few weeks ago at my comic shop. It looked cool but I don't feel like spending like 30 bucks for that.
