The entire original line-up died. Major Victory was the sole survivor of Janus Directive - He went on to join the Suicide Squad and later the Captains of Industry, but he was eventually killed in the infamous Eclipso massacre.

And they're not called the Force of July anymore. They're now Freedom's Ring. And if you're paying attention to skin color, check out the Ray. With costume off, he's white. With costume on, he's black.

Yeah the inconsistencies in the art bothered me and i stoped reading when the teen Titans showed up. But Rays powers would turn him black when he use dthem. Not Negro black but shadow black. Or it did sometimes. this Ray is the teen one that hung wihtth e Titans before, right?

Nope, this is a brand new Ray. I don't know why the DC Universe needs to have had three different "The Ray"s, but at least that makes more sense than four Firebrands or three Black Condors.

not to mention all the Hawkmen running about the place. That got confusing.
